Sometimes I diverge from straight baiting to seeing how scammers react to the unexpected. When I received an email from the Australian Federal Police, it seemed just the moment…
The scammers' emails are date-stamped; my comments are in bold. One scammer name has been amended.

After a serious thought, we have finally scrutinized and investigated why you have not been able to receive your payments until date due to fraudulent acts as someone used your details trying to claim your funds behind you with reasons that you do not have the certificate of fund ownership which grants you legal rights as the true beneficiary to this claim and this is the reason why you have not been able to confirm your funds and have access till date.
I will need you to assure us that you have the certificate and forward the copy to this office to enable us contact the United Nations office in Texas United States of America as the payment will be granted through the Bank of America once the certificate is validated as we are aware of the countries where the transaction was executed so you are strongly advised to respond to this email correspondence thank you.

Thanks for your email, your case file was among the files that was sent to my desk to grant Certificate of Claim, the reason why you have not been paid is because there was no Certificate of Ownership that proof that you're the beneficiary to this said fund which we made clear to your government and then we received letter from your government applied appeal that we should approve your payments as you will be advice by the Australian federal police to obtain the certificate which cost only $750 and your fund will be granted to you once it is confirmed .
For your information out of 55 Client, 50 has been paid to their nominated account by Wire Transfer and their Certificate has been issued. You need to act fast since we have already started the process before something goes wrong, thanks.
