This was fun! I played the stereotypical “nice guy” that can’t get a date to save his life. The scammer kept posting from their script, and each time, I reminded the scammer that I was a “nice guy.” When the scammer took a break, I berated them with all sorts of nastiness, even words I’m not at all comfortable with. I think the scammer missed all that because they carried on as nothing happened. All it took was one bait card to cause a scammer meltdown. Playing the “nice guy,” I let it all fly.
I imagine most “nice guys” will go broke trying to get that one to meet them, not knowing they’re dealing with a scammer. Scammers will use that desperation to their advantage. Hopefully, I showed one scammer that not all “nice guys” are easy.
