Scammers are often very quick to adapt to changes in the political landscapes, especially of the United States. Hearken to the emails that I've received since 5 February. These were sent by scammers who were badly chopped in late 2019 and have been intermittently contacting Mal since then, and mostly being ignored; but they persist.
With the first, I've emphasised one line that seems to have been left over from emails sent by Donald Trump.

I am the newly elected President of the United States of America Joe Biden and I came across your payment file from the former United States President and I was surprised that your US$200,000,000.00 has not been released to you since.
After my meeting with the CEO Washington Trust Bank yesterday he told us that you promised to send the Transfer Permit Certificate (TPC) which is $699.00 to secure the Permit Certificate from this Office to enable us back your transfer up .
Again if you want your $200 million via Atm card you have to be responsible in paying for the DHL AND INSURANCE fees of $499.00 to enable them to dispatch your Atm card parcel of your $200 million latest next week to your Address .
I will advise you to follow instructions and to choose any of the Option to enable you to receive your $200 million .

They attached a "Presidential License." Whoever wrote that email didn't look too closely at it, because it's the latest example of a spoof based on a driver's license that's already taken aim at Bush Senior, Clinton, Obama, and Trump.
