Hi,I'm potatodemon. I've been attempting scambaiting via email since I was 12 or so. I took a break for like 2 years because of some personal stuff. 15 now and excited to get back to it! I started because I heard something in the news about someone getting scammed out of thousands of dollars and I wanted to make life difficult for scammers. Can't wait for some success!

I am Harry Ballas - Well my scambaiting name is! I am from Australia and am a long term fan of Pricky's and a proud Patreon of his! Absolutely love what he and other scambaiters do. I love how some of the baits are so elaborate with all the theatre, characters, locations, websites and problems occurred along the way! The quotes like *FART* - Did you hear that? There's a sound in my ear, I think it's network sound, "it's like I'm talking to the cat", "Do you smoke Indian Hemp? It's Natural, It's a vegetable, I am at "Heathrow intentional airport" and other great quotes that have now become staple quotes I use in daily life unbeknownst to work colleagues and other people who have no idea where they are from. A couple of my mates are also listeners and they understand them and also quote!
Other channels I enjoy are <deleted>, Ownage Pranks, <deleted>, Deeveear - Used to listen to a lot when he was streaming 24/7.

I appreciate Scambaiting a lot as about 10 years ago I used to manage a post office and saw a poor old lady frequently come in and send money to Nigeria to her "ex-husband" who was in trouble. I tried to encourage her to stop sending the money but it was a tough position to be in as she was my customer I had to do as she asked. She would sometimes send money multiple times a week and more that $1000AUD at a time. She would borrow from friends and was scared for her life if she missed a payment. I used to talk to my boss about this and ask what we could do but he said we have to follow instructions of our customers.
She was a sweet lady and it was hard to see her doing this. I wasn't aware of Scambaiting at that time and with the knowledge I have now I could have maybe done more to help this poor woman.
We also had a 17 year old girl who had been saving for 2 years for a car send it all through Western Union only to find out she had been scammed the next day. The money had already been collected at the other end and the person vanished.
Absolute Scumbags these scammers are!!!!
I have done a bit of email baiting, it was enjoyable but I got busy and stopped for a while. Have just started a bit more.
I just enjoy wasting these assholes time and stopping them from scamming other people.

Welcome, harryballas! Yours is a sad, sad story played out everyday all around the world. We can't stop the scammers, but we make life a bit more miserable for a few of them.

Howdy y'all! I'm an <name of monetised Forum removed> emigre (won't give my username from there since I still post, but Justcold, the name Eric Marsh should ring a bell). I recognize some familiar names and personas. I have lots of experience in various baiting modalities (WhatsApp is my specialty now), with somewhere around 25 confirmed safaris as an example, although not as much as some people here; anyway, I'll be glad to help out.

Hi, I am klaas, a dutchman currently performing baits on Facebook, after a long absence from scambaiting.
Early 2003 one of my baits I started november 2002 even got published as a booklet in the Netherlands "Joe ken call me Uncle Klaas".
It's written in poor English, quite a few jokes are only comprehensible for the Dutch, I'm afraid. Nevertheless, for the English readers there's also plenty to enjoy.

Greetings all

Hello all! I’m Oovoo and I’ve been a scambait fan since I found Scambait Central videos on YouTube several years ago. There’s nothing like listening to scammers having meltdowns while driving to and from work. . It makes me not mind sitting in traffic.

Currently I live in Sagamihara-Shi, Japan but hopefully next year we will be moving back to the US and settling there. I’d love to try my hand at scambaiting someday, but until then I’m happy sitting in the ‘peanut gallery’ and watch the masters (and mistresses) work their craft.
