I got a reply from a loan scammer. The waste of space didn't tell me how much the loan is for just jumping straight to wanting me to send a copy of my id. A note to keep in mind, I e mail the scammer that I needed the loan to pay for my daughters kemo. Doesn't that just give you the warm fuzzies?

This scammer is wanting my phone number bad. Does anyone who does baiting on the phone want to bait this 1, if so do you want me to help?

If he keeps insisting on a phone number you can give him Lenny or Lilly's number and say it's your grandmother / father / uncle / ... and make up an excuse why you can't talk to them yourself. I barely talk to scammers on the phone, it's not really my thing, and it's not needed to do that to bait. If he doesn't accept, just start baiting another scammer and try again.

I'll reach out to 1 of those 2. I'm giving the scammer a good run around so far, but kind of want to learn more about wasting there phone time as well.

I'm trying to look them up. What are the screen names?

In the Phone Baiting section of the forum you will find some "Lenny" / "Lilly" topics ... it's very simple. You just have to say that Lenny and Lilly are your parents and that they answer the phone. Of course, they are divorced (because they have different phone numbers) and you live alternately with your father or with your mother. The scammer calls those phone numbers and talks to "them." Calls are recorded and we can have fun later.
