Student Loan Debt Scammers

I missed a call earlier from the number Number removed - JC

These folks left a message on my phone which I immediately identified as scammy. They said that the government is forgiving student loan debt because of Covid. I called back and they had the scam call center hold music and everything. I spoke with someone on the phone who was very rude and abrupt with me, he hung up on me before I could ask many questions. I think he could tell I wasn't buying their BS. I've attempted to call back multiple times and I get hung up on within the first ten seconds every time. I spoke to one of them for over a minute and he directed me to a government website when I asked for their website. Nothing comes up when I google their number.

These are some of the worst kind of scammers there are, using this crisis as an opportunity to prey on people who already have financial problems.

I think these guys might actually be American. Their automated message did have a tiny grammatical error and the representative who spoke with me had a very slight Indian accent but most of them spoke English very well with no accent.
