Romance scams are the worst. www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-57358241Scambaiting can be fun, but it can protect real victims too, never forget. Every minute wasted with us is time they've lost. Even if you don't bait, spread the word! Share stories, educate your family and friends, and be supportive. Victims have no reason to be ashamed. Reach out. Get help. Fight back.

That one is much more convoluted than what we usually see in the baiting world! Horrible and sad that nobody (unpaid) cares about him being scammed.

Indeed a cautionary tale. I have a friend who’s 61 and on the autism spectrum that got scammed pretty badly through Hangiuts and WhatsApp. It led to his identity bring stolen. He eventually got everything sorted out, but he keeps his heart under lock and key now and he deleted those apps.
Romance scammers are simply the worst! Fortunately, I don’t let emotions get involved with my baiting. Instead, I’m like my cat Mittens when she’s playing with a mouse. She lets the mouse run then pounces on it like, “We’re not done playing yet.”
