I sure hope they are able to "proces" my delivery soon... This message came in today while I was asleep and my phone forwarded it to spam. NOTE: I tried calling this number from one of my burner numbers, doesn't exist. I tried manually typing the address from a secure computer and it takes me right back to google. Either it's designed to do something on phones or the hyperlink address is different from what was typed. For those confused, I made the following example, click the link and you will notice the text for the hyperlink is different from where it actually sends you ------> https://www.walmart.com That or the website connected to the scam is already taken down...

Looks like some good old phishing!
Very thankfully SMS is a "dumb" messaging protocol. What you see is what you get. So, that's the actual link. It's not markup like the forum software here is. Plain text gets sent over the network, and then your messaging application has parsed this text, found the 'https://...' and gone "aha, this is a link, so I better make it clickable". If it was marked-up, considering that it's pretending to be USPS, I'm sure they'd chuck in the real usps.com domain instead.
As for the link going to Google, I think you're right and they've set it up so that it'll only work if you're on a mobile device. If you open your browser's development tools you can spoof a mobile device - you can try visiting the link again with this on and see what you get. The site is still online, no site should ever redirect if it's offline (and if it does, definitely not to Google).

Since I got this message I got a secure browser/feature with my antivirus and VPN and it took me to a 404 page, the site/forum must of been taken offline.
I will have to work on my computer browser and look into how to make it operate like a phone browser.

you can right click on a website, then choose 'inspect' it opens a console (usually on the right of the page), on top you see an icon that shows a phone and a large screen in front of eachother. Select it to toggle to device emulation. That opens a menu on top, where you see 'responsive'. Click that and select the device you want to emulate. You might have to refesh the window for it to work then. to go back to the normal view, just close that console on the right with the x.
If you really want to emulate a phone or tablet I can recommend MeMu android emulator, but it's a bit heavy on the CPU and RAM of your pc.
