Artiste - Falz Song - This is Nigeria - It criticises many aspects of the country as a whole (including 419 scamming & the culture). The song is a parody of the popular " This Is America" by Childish Gambino. - The song references many specific things that only Nigerians would understand. The Genius Lyrics/Annotations explain some of them, and you can always ask if there's something you don't understand.

Artiste - Fela Song - Water No Get Enemy - Very straightforward song about the usefulness of water; with a deeper meaning; Genius Lyrics & Annotations. - About half of the song is in Yoruba, but the Yoruba lines are followed by a direct translation in Pidgin English. - A significant portion of the song is a saxophone solo by Fela.

Artist - Rudeboy Song - Reason with me Personally I really enjoy this artists music. This one is about a man who loses his girlfriend because he's poor. He begs her to stay, tells her he's working hard to be with her and promises her there will be better times. Lyrics(I don't understand all of it, so maybe Captain Nigeria will correct or add to this)

^^^ Ah, RudeBoy of P-Square; sucks that the group split.
You did a good job explaining the song and you got most of it. I don't know the specific part that confuses you and it's fine if you don't totally understand it, the Igbo/south-south variant of Nigerian pidgin is a lot more difficult to understand, much so that it confuses other Nigerians.
- After this girlfriend leaves him, He becomes rich and successful, she comes back to him remorseful, but he's moved on with someone else. (raba means money btw.)

Artiste - Naira Marley Song - Am I A Yahoo Boy (feat. Zlatan) - Naira Marley is a very controversial musician. He was arrested by the EFCC for suspected internet fraud(along with Zlatan). - They were eventually released and are now seen as matyrs by the 419 scammers. This song was ironically released a week before they got arrested and speaks about how young successful people are wrongly profiled as 419 scammers by people. - One thing I can tell you is that 419 scammers LOVE Naira Marley. - Lyrics | Translations.

Artiste - Teni Song - Dorime - Lyrics- Dorime/Ameno (From Era's Ameno) recently became a meme in Nigeria that describes somebody about to spend a lot of money, Ideally in a club. - I think it became popular because the song is so dramatic, and it sort of sounds like yoruba. A DJ introduced a group of big spenders in a club with the song, and it caught on. - This article explains it.
