<removed> on Snapchat scammed me out of £400 when I tried to buy from him and , just kept on asking for more money I have all his social accounts, bank details if anyone can do anything with this information? I just want justice, bank told me I won't get my money back so  .

chuckbutt maybe I'm reading your comment the wrong way but it feels like an attack to me and that's not how we want to talk to each other here. On snapchat you can be scammed just like on facebook messenger, WhatsApp, email or any other platform. Someone makes empty promises or sells you something he doesn't have, you pay him and never get anything. This has nothing to do with the age of the victim. People of all ages, races and social statuses get scammed and it is not their fault. The scammer is at fault because he is a criminal. anonuser455 I'm sorry to hear that you have been scammed. The best thing you can do is go to the police with the information that you have and proof of the scam. The chance that he will get arrested is slim to none, but other than that you can't do anything.

If people pay them scammers get funded!

No chuckbutt there is NO excuse for ridiculing or blaming victims. It is unacceptable behaviour that we won't condone or tolerate in this community. You can have your thoughts about it but the social rules apply. "If you can't say anything nice then don't say anything" If you want to ridicule or insult a scammer, be my guest any day, but our members need to feel safe here. |
