Donating To Children's Cancer Research to upset a scammer

I've been talking to this scammer for a short while on Facebook Messenger. "She" recently contacted me again after about a month of silence and asked me to give her an 8 digit code she sent me.
What started out as her trying to get access and take control of my facebook account ended in failure. I thought it was funny how she was able to find out my email account did start with the letter "i" that I use for Facebook but that was some how the only information she had. She didn't know what email provider I used... kinda curious how she found out the I part but not the rest.
UPDATE: I think this bate has run it's course. She hasn't gotten upset or angry at me and stopped replying. Changed name of this bait as I think it is better fitting. I donated my actual own money to a Children's Cancer Research Fund to make a scammer angry... I didn't get an angry response but I did get to do my good deed for the day

I was hoping to find the email they sent me to login in to my facebook account. I was going to edit the email I got and move a couple of the numbers around and use the sniping tool to send it to them and have it look like an actual screenshot... but oddly I never did get such an email. I wanted to see their reaction as they input the numbers in the image but not have them work out for them. Never got to
I can only assume they tried to send a password reset code for my Facebook account to the wrong email domain? They never did know what email domain I used... I never got an email from Facebook about an 8 digit pin, so not sure what they messed up.
I want to give this scammer time to anticipate me getting her a Steam gift card... what "She" doesn't know is that what she will get is a screen shot of me making an actual donation to St. Jude's Childhood Cancer Research fund. I am going to take a screen shot of it and try to avoid any sensitive information and send it to her. She said she was going to donate her Steam card to them... I was going to skip a step for her and go ahead and make that donation.
