The scammer's emails are date-stamped; my comments are in bold. Additionally, I've been including titles from Kate Winslet's filmography in the emails to date (also in bold).

We just shared the money some days ago and I want to move mine to a safe place. Why am I contacting you through this email because this is the only means of communication I have here. I came across your email when I was searching for a random person online who I can trust with this proposal. I am willing to offer you 40% of the total money which is USD 7.8 million if you are willing to do the deal with me and I want you to know that this is very legit. Looking forward to hearing from you again.

When I got my first passport, I had to sign an undertaking not to copy it or let it be copied, and I was told that applied across all NATO nations. And when I got it renewed, I was told that it couldn't be copied (scanned or xeroxed) because it's the holographic version. Straight up, darlin.
