In the second half of 2021, a few scammers found themselves delayed by my problems with neuralgia, which is a very debilitating condition. Here's one such Lad.
The scammer's name has been changed and his emails are date-stamped; my comments are in bold.

Dear Friend
It is my pleasure to write to you after much consideration since I may not be able to see you face to face at first. Being the only child of my father late Bangura Bana, from Gambia, West Africa. My father was a limited liability cocoa and gold merchant in Africa before his untimely death. After his business trip to Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire, to negotiate on a cocoa business a week after he came, he was shot by unknown assassins and the shock led to my mother's death instantly, but my father died after five days in hospital on that fateful afternoon.
Before he gave up the ghost,it was as if he knew he was going to die,He disclosed to me that he had a very vital document and told me where he kept it. On seeing the document, I discovered that he deposited US$7,000,000 ( SEVEN MILLION U.S DOLLARS ) in a security and safe deposit company here in Istanbul, Turkey. From the document, the money was meant for his cocoa business he wanted to invest in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire through his business partner, but he deposited the money in a trunk box and declared it as ivory and family belonging for the security reasons. He kept the key of the box and certificate of deposit and agreement certificate. He instructed me to seek for his foreign business partner who will help me to move it out from the security and safe deposit company for a lifetime investment abroad but could not give me his contact information before he died.
Now, I have succeeded in locating the security and safe deposit company here in Istanbul, Turkey. I have also confirmed the items with honesty and confidentiality but the Security company insisted on releasing the box to my father's business partner as stated in the Agreement of deposit.
Now I am soliciting your assistance to help me make a claim on this box from the Security Company, so that you can invest the money in your company or any lucrative business in your country strictly on your advice because this is my only hope in life.
As I am waiting anxiously to hear from you so that we can discuss the modalities of this transaction and the documents sent to you. Please

I've spent a large chunk of my working life taking risks, but entrusting millions of dollars to a complete stranger is, as they say, a biggie; not something I would do, but then again, it ain't my choice.
"I will be happy if your family will expect me in your house" - I don't have a family. I never married. I have two daughters, but they're grown up and leading their own lives.
" you are going to handle the investment for me" - I've never done any investment. This ain't a good idea.
"I am still a growing child" - How old are you?
"this process will require you traveling to Istanbul, Turkey" - Really? That might be a problem. The borders are closed, and I don't know when they'll reopen.

Concerning traveling to Istanbul, Turkey, it will not be a problem because Turkey has started allowing people to fly in and out to do business, so their borders are open as well. The reason why it is very important for you to be present in Istanbul is because you need to see things with your own eyes and also to be there to make sure the agent helps you to make deposits to your bank accounts in your country. So for calling you "Mr", but really, there was nothing in what you wrote to indicate your gender. But let's move on from that.
You wrote, "I am very sorry to hear that you have lost a lot of money in the hands of a stranger" - I don't understand where you got that idea. I specifically said that entrusting millions of dollars to a complete strangers is something I wouldn't do. Not that I've had millions of dollars, ever.
Now, travel... it doesn't matter if Turkey has opened its borders. I'm living in Australia, and the borders are closed. No-one gets in or out. I don't know when they'll be opened; there was talk of opening them at the end of the year, but that was before Delta-Vee. So my travelling to Turkey is out, for the time being at least.
As for me; I'm a retired United States Marine Corps Captain, 53 years old. I served for eighteen years and mustered out on medical grounds in 2005. I moved to Australia the year after and since then I've made a living as a survival instructor, though the last two years haven't been good times without international tourists. I never married, but I have two daughters, both grown up and leading their own lives now.

Not that I've had millions of dollars" Trusting you is from my heart and I have that feeling that you will never let me down. I am going through hail here in my country due to how my uncles are treating me because of my late father's properties, They want to claim all that my late father left for me. Please I will need your urgent help to claim my inheritance fund from Istanbul, delay may cause a very big problem for me because of my uncles who are busy looking for my late father' properties to claim. I believe there shall be another means of claiming my inheritance without you being present in Istanbul, we can as well find out from them if they pay through bank transfer from any of their Affiliated Banks in Europe. There must be a way out.
Please you are the last hope I have to have a better life so do not allow them to claim my inheritance.
