I do not give money. I have a can of tuna in my bag at all times. I gave the tuna to a genuine homeless person 3 years ago who had a cardboard sign in biro: will take money or food. He thanked me for the tuna can.

These professional scam beggars are international gangs. They travel from country to country and are organized by a central pimp. I have seen them in Melbourne. They are aggressive and will shout at people "give me money give me money!"
