This is a scan of the receipt they gave me. My son scanned it in for me. I didn’t send it over because I assumed you had already received the money. You could’ve made it more clear that you didn’t

I attached the MoneyGram chatbot receipt. Robert was a bit confused by this

I received the payment receipt you send to me but the Money Gram Reference Number was not inside the receipt so kindly write down the Money Gram Reference Number to me or go back to money-gram office where he send the fee and tell the agent to show him the Money Gram Reference Number of the receipt,

I remember the clerk at the MoneyGram store saying that, for security reasons, the receiver was required to call the phone number located at the bottom of the receipt. He said you get the MTCN when you call the line. Do you understand this?

This email was apparently enough to convince Robert to call the chatbot

In the first two calls, Robert doesn't say anything and the calls end quickly. The second two calls are much longer. He goes the full 10 minutes in both. The idiot wasted a nice bit of his money for nothing

His first call here is short and unnoteworthy. The second call is quite amusing. He is obviously very frustrated at having to listen to Lenny and his endless ramblings. He tries and fails several times to interrupt Lenny.

I always use this excuse when the scammer asks me to pay with anything other than gift cards, bank accounts or MoneyGram.

I think I will just recall the money. If you say you have not received it then it will still be there. Regarding the other fee options, I have heard on the news that Western Union and Ria are only used by criminals, fraudstars and drug dealers. It would be inappropriate to use these services. Send me your receivables bank account and I will just transfer the £28 today. That is it!

I have traveled to the MoneyGram and I have recalled the money. I’m not sure why you haven’t called me today. The clerk gave me a receipt containing the questions MoneyGram asked you. Why did you tell them I’m your brother? And why did you say the money was for food? Are you playing with me here??

In hindsight, I should've provided a receipt showing what he said. I never thought about it at the time

I have received an email from the Noble Barrister Kofi Mensah. He has informed me that he is your boss. Apparently you work under him and he is your boss.
He has said you have made a mistake with the account. Apparently the fee is £500, not £28. He also gave me another account to send the money to. He told me you are aware of all this. I thought I had better email you just to make sure. I am leaving for the bank right now.
I won’t be with my email, so if you have any problems, call this number and ask for Alan! My wife Lilly will answer so please be patient with her.

All this caused the desired levels of stress. I always enjoy putting scammers through this

In the second call he continues to ask Alan to check his email.
The third call lasts only a few seconds. He tries to speak fast and to tell Alan to check his email yet again. I think maybe he runs out of call credit or something as the call cuts mid syllable XD

I wonder how long it's taking him to write out these essays?
