Continuing, reference the same voice in my posts scambaitingforum.com/thread/77/introduce?page=28#post-28599 (same as the one in dat misss's recording also referenced just called landline again. I answered phone, prepared, with a toally different voice. He began with the same slow, accented monotone "How are you doing?" (Squeaky) I'm just fine ...Who are you calling for? Caller then, expecting me to recognize him (?), "Are you feeling better?" (Squeaky reply) Oh, you must be calling for "Karen". Can I give her a message?.. Caller "This is Publishers Cl.. etc...winner ..prize...Is she at the doctor?" (Squeaky) Oh, no she doesn't live here. She's at work, and she puts on fowaring to me. I take care of her dogs and calls today. I'll give her the message. Can I tell her who called? (Caller repeats re PCH, prize winning). "What time will she be back?" (Squeaky) Not sure, try back maybe around 5:30...Can I give her your name and number, ..." Caller "This is >redacted<T... C...(yet another name), with (PCH)" (Squeaky) lemme get a pen first... ok, T o n y Chink ston...what is your phone number? Tony (A.K.A.others 😉) ..."1->red<-700>acted<" (Squeaky) OK got it (repeated info) I'll tell her you called and want to call back. <end call> Note, the phone numbers match the one David Fisher gave me two days ago! ✔️Go ahead and have at it if you like, and keep me posted. BTW Let me know if you think "Karen" or yet someone else or voicemail should answer at 5:30 today? ============= Update 7:40pm EST. Checked messages, findin 3 local (possibly spoofed) calls with no message left, but a few scant background noises only, and while present at 5:30, did not answer an incoming call at 5:29; it only rang once. (Thanks, nomorobo!). =============== Btw, Red&acted=876&-3638 (not 3636,typo 1st x)

Today I answered landline around 11:15, and the scammer asked if I knew who he was. David? He agreed, and began queries re. everything, for which I had ready excuses. And yes, I did get one job last week and my phone was forwarded to the dog sitter. I didn't call him because my landline doesn't have outgoing long distance service, being the cheapest service. And I also could only get $21 and change from people and my check is only about $50. Now, he says can get the vanilla card today for 70, try to get it in 1 hour and call him on this other "local" 405 area is not local...357 eight two six three. Asked where's that & he said Oklahoma, and I said I cant call that either. And am not dressed yet, don't have car today, have to get a ride to bank first to cash check, then go get card. He asks if I've got a cellphone; I do but all the prepaid minutes are used up. He insists the prize $ and car are in my state and town now, and soon I'll be happy spending ... Only deal with him, DFisher from now on, call him in an hour or he will call me. I haven't answered the phone since, and it rang at 12:11, 12:12,12:13,12:22,12:36,12:52,1:01,1:23,2:01,2:17,2:18,&3:11.yikes. Checked messages, 6 calls made it to voicemail and said nothing: 3 of them were from the 876 #, 1 from "unknown caller", and 2 from local numbers likely spoofed. So, on a whim, I just searched my land # with duckduckgo and found way too much info, at no cost, among many sites. Name address age occupation area typical rent! And more. Any way to get that blocked?

I believe it has been mentioned before, but please don't use your landline to bait scammers. It might seem funny but you're dealing with criminals. It is not safe. I'm sorry but according to the rules of this forum I'll have to close this topic. You can post baits that have been done in a safe way, with burner phones that are not registered on your name or address or linked to any of your real life accounts. It happened in the past that scammers tracked down a victim or a baiter. Believe me, you do not want that. Plenty scammers have connections all around the world, so to think they are far from you will be naïve and dangerous.
Any further discussion about this rule can be done through PM with either me or any other moderator / admin. Our names are in green, purple and red
