Dr. Ike and his secretary want to do business

After the big quarrel that Lola had with Mr. Ike and his secretary on Saturday, Mr. Ike sent me (Mr. Mark) this e-mail:

Dear Mr. Mark,
I have spoken with Lola, Sir Lola said she will not send the 2700 pounds on Monday, that he will tell you she sent it and you will believe her. Mr Mark, seriously your daughter is not helping matters at all.

She said the reason why she will not send any money is because she want to use the whole money and go for shopping in Dubai. You see I have not received any money from her.

Mr Mark, can you please assign someone to be sending money and I will.be in communication with the person, I won't discuss it with Lola. I think is the best way to handle this to enable you get your funds. I have informed the Ministry of Finance that they should start the renewal of papers that I will pick it up on Tuesday next week. Hoping Lola will send the 2700 pounds for other papers and 5000 pounds for the Ministry.

I want you to think deeply about this and call me.

I have been busy during the weekend, so I only replied to the scammer-couple this morning. This is the e-mail I sent to Mr. Ike:

Dear Mr. Ike,

Thank you for your e-mail and for your hard work.

I am sorry that I could not write you back right away or take your call. I went a boat-trip with two of my friends on Saturday and we only return to Plymouth late yesterday evening. When other people are around, I don't like to talk about the transaction. In my opinion it is very important to keep the transaction confidential. People can easily get jealous and start to talk, and I don't like that. The only people who know about the transaction on my side is my daughter and myself.

Mr. Ike, after I had seen your e-mail I was shocked, and I right away contacted my daughter. She confirmed that she is going to Dubai, but Lola said that she has told your secretary, that she will make the remaining payment to you when she has arrived in Dubai. She said that it is not a problem to make the payment from Dubai.

Mr. Ike, I know my daughter sometimes has a difficult temperament, but she is a good person, and I know she is honest. You just have to be patient and open when you talk to her. She is not of the same generation as we are. She likes to talk about everything and does not have any boundaries. This is something that even for me can be difficult to accept at times, but this is just the way she is. Please Mr. Ike be patient with my daughter. I am 100% convinced that she will make pay the remaining amount very soon.

Mr. Ike sent this e-mail to Mr. Mark yesterday. He is being diplomatic and not saying anything bad about my daughter Lola. However, he clearly wants me to take over the case from my daughter and make a fast payment to him

I (Mr. Mark) have just had two long phone conversations. The first one with Mr. Ike and his secretary (who probably is his wife) and one with the widow of Dr. LamSta, who was the one that originally was in charge of the deal.

The funny thing is, that Mr. Ike's secretary is also playing the role as Dr. LamSta widow However, when she speaks as Dr. LamSta widow, she is more jolly. She told me that her son needs a surgery which cost 1 million Naira. Of course she wants me to send them so much money as possible

I told Mr. Ike, that I have spoken to my daugher Lola, and that she has confirmed that she had made a transfer to Mr. Ike from Dubai, where she is on holiday at the moment. I also told Mr. Ike that I, two days ago, sent 10,000 pounds to my daughter because she needed it for her holidays.

The conversations I had with them were good and I feel that they trust me very much (but they don’t trust my daughter Lola). It will take too long time to write everything down her that we spoke about. However, one of my maingoals now is to make them send an Agent to me to collect a cash-payment. Lola shall of course not know anything about this.

As I mentioned above, Dr. Ike's wife is playing both the role of Dr. Ike's secretary and as Dr. Lambert's widow. When she plays the role as Dr. Ike's secretary, she is a married lady with children. Her husband works for the ministry of agreculture. When she plays the role as Dr. Lambert's widow, she is a single mom with small financial means. She did not work when Dr. Lambert was alive, but now she has to work to take care of herself and her family. She is a fashion designer. When I asked her today if she is single, she said yes. From now on I think I am going to phone her more often and see if she maybe can become my future wife

I (Mr. Mark) had a long talk with Dr. Ike's secretary yesterday, where she finally managed to convince me to make the payment myself and not rely on my daughter Lola to make the payment. However, I had some conditions:

• They must not tell Lola anything about this plan. Not a word.
• I want this payment to be a final payment. I want everything to be included. Furthermore, I want to add 2,000 pounds to the payment, which is a gift from me to the widow of the late Dr. Lambert. Dr. Ike shall personally hand the money to Dr. Lambert's widow on my behalf.
• If they later on receive any payment from my daughter Lola, I want them to transfer the money back to me immediately.
• I want to pay in cash at my place in Plymouth. They need to find an agent, that is well trustworthy and informed about this deal to come and collect the money from me. I would like to have a talk with this person over the phone before he comes to see me.

Dr. Ike and his secretary have accepted my conditions and we have agreed that I shall pay them 12,000 pounds in cash next Saturday. However, what we don't know is, that my daughter Lola has the password to my e-mail and she is secretly reading all the messages that I am sending to and receiving from Dr. Ike. Also this e-mail that Dr. Ike just has sent me:

Mr. Ike is not yet ready to give me (Mr. Mark) the name and contact information of his friend, that shall come and collect 12,000 pounds from me on Saturday.

I (Mr. Mark) have just spoken to Mr. Ike. He is very excited about doing this business with me. He advised me one more time not to tell anything to my daughter Lola about the payment that I am going to make on Saturday. However, Lola is secretly reading all the e-mails, that Mr. Ike and I are exchanging - and Lola has a plan for how to interrupt the business I am sure that both Mr. Ike, his secretary (=his wife) and Mr. Ike's friend, who shall come to to collect the money from me, will not be happy

I don't think that Mr. Ike is doing much to protect his good friend in London that shall come to collect the money from me on Saturday. Mr. Ike has given me his friend's full name, his profession and also his full address. All Mr. Ike wants is to get the 12,000 pounds from me as soon as possible, and then run away. He does not care if his "friend" gets in trouble.

Short update:

I (Mr. Mark) phoned Mr. Ike yesterday to hear if they have made any progress in my case. Mr. Ike told me that they had been in contact with several people in the UK that were willing to help, but all of them wanted the payment to be made on bank account. I told him that this is not an option for me.

I have also told Mr. Ike and his secretary that I was involved in a similar deal about 10 years ago. I had paid most of the different expenses in relation to the deal and I just needed to pay one more fee to a lawyer in Nigeria, but when I should make the last payment, my bank refused to let me do that. I became very angry with the bank because they caused the deal to go into the drain. This is the reason why I don't want to use banks for such transactions.

For now I think I will just wait a few days and give them a chance to find another Agent in UK. Lola is of course always welcome to phone Mr. Ike and his secretary and insult them

If Mr. Ike does not find an Agent, then I will consider sending the money to Mr. Ike in a package

I have been quite busy in my personal life. Therefor I have placed my character (Mr. Mark) at the hospital Mr. Ike is not happy for bad health because his man in UK is ready to travel to Plymouth to collect 12,000 pounds from me. He has sent me these e-mails (which I have not responded to yet).
