Back in 2012 I received an email from a scammer pretending to be the secretary to the Ghanaian Finance Minister, saying that I had been placed on a blacklist by the Government of Ghana because I'd been accused of trying to illegally adopt African orphans so as to steal their funds, and this charge had been made before the Parliament of Ghana! Now I could be removed from the blacklist, but it would cost me $650 to get my name removed from a blacklist.
Since then I've used that scenario against many Ghanaian scammers, especially those with orphan scripts. Here are two such scammers from this year.
The scammers' emails are date-stamped; their names have been changed. My comments are in bold.

Mr. Malcolm compliment and sorry for the late response, i have been busy with works. The inquiry i carried out from the court registrar show that the fund transfer come from a telegram wire from Ghana meant for you through Bank of Ghana. It was intercepted by the government because the wire transfer did not ģo through due process

Please for the record i have gone to the registrar this morning, the funds is part of Orphan beneficiary funds from Sudan which was supposed to be transfer to you but unfortunately messed up by the handlers due to lack of compliance to financial regulatory framework.
