Over the years I've received many emails supposedly from rich Russians needing my help. The Special Military Operation (aka Putin's Folly) hasn't stemmed the flow.
The scammer's emails are date-stamped; his name has been changed. My comments are in bold.

With respect, I haven't accepted to help you, at least not yet. I did point out that I don't have the expertise to be your investment manager, even though you did mention your delegate coming over.
Assuming that I do accept, I would suggest that moving your funds not be the first priority. My Marine MOS was combat and survival, not finance, but even so, I'm sure that we need to get some agreements worked out between us.

The "legal documents" consisted of a Deposit Certificate and a Certificate of Funds, neither very convincing; the "Identity" was a slightly skewed ID card that listed Mr Federov as the "Cheif Executive Officer".
I tossed in some abbreviations just because. AOE is Area Of Expertise; SMLE should have been SME (Subject Matter Expert) rather than Short Magazine Lee Enfield. Whatever.

The money is already in United States of America, I'm not moving it from Russia just that I don't want to see the funds confiscated after many years of suffering.
I'm not from Russia just that I have lived all my life here in Moscow. We can arrange for this and you'll replace me as the owner of the funds legally.
