Upon their triumphant return, our two heroes were met mostly with scorn but nobody said "I told you so". Everybody was suspicious and were like "are y'all making up these wild and ridiculous stories to cut me off from my share of the loot?".
The ridicule came from the ones who weren't invited to join in, to pretend to be the staff at the orphanage.

The whole village already found out about him that he is an idiot who was fooled by a drugged and homosexual driver. I am convinced that the "brother" told in many details about the "loving" way in which Joojoo invites Uchenna to be his wife... as well as all the invitations to hot sex. Our scammer couldn't answer them, so he is now seen as "the idiot of the village". He is full of anger and frustration, because he "feels" that he was tricked... he is now trying to check everything he can. Because he talked to Lenny on the phone, he is convinced that the old man is a real and legitimate character. - So far he has not responded to the morning messages (Cliff and Nancy)... now, he is questioning the very legitimacy of the company. Usually, when scammers reach this stage, they suspect anyone and anything. The TSC website exists, but the page is NOT indexed by the search engines... so there is NO information on the net about the TSC / Church. Just some static pages, suitable in the initial stages of the stories when the scammers "want" to believe that luck is on their side. |

He has been hit repeatedly and very hard with the ‘clue bat’.
The suit suggests he is a confident and arrogant scammer and there are likely people in his village who resent him and will delight in his public shaming.

He's in the same spot as a real victim in that the money is gone, but he's holding onto just the slimmest bit of hope because he's put so much trust and effort into getting the prize. He's been told by other people that this is not real and he knows... but he still wants to believe. So on to the next steps!  |

Until now (14.35 - Nigerian local time) I have not received any response from him. I think the story ends here, because we don't want to work harder than him. A scammer who reaches this stage (so frustrated and so suspicious) is no longer a subject we want to work with. I would be surprised if he still wants to participate in any "action", as long as he refused to collaborate with Nancy for "damage recovery". |

^^^ Yeap, it was a fast moving story: - August 23 - our coleague ScammingTheScammers notes that a scammer named Uchenna used children in an attempt to convince our old Lenny to send some money to the orphanage. - September 21 - luckily (for us), the scammer was greedy enough to swallow the bait thrown by us ( Linoline and I) and now, less than a month after the initial moment, we have already finished the story with a glorious Safari (OkeAgbo - Seme) and an unexpected Trip (Seme - Hillacondji). Mission accomplished! PS: We thank you all for the suggestions, for the advice and for the attention with which you followed our story! |

If he's trying to find a silver lining in this otherwise frustrating and soul-draining trip, one is that he finally made a guy like JooJoo feel like an oga by supporting his village with the package. An amazing bait and safari trip, as always. I was surprised Uchenna and his friend would actually go further out west to meet with JooJoo despite JooJoo's obvious ulterior motives. |
