My definition of a scambaiter is one that lure a scammer into an endless loop of hope to end op with nothing and does never reveal anything to the scammer like telling them they got pranked or "burn" the scammer. For me it does not matter if it is 419 from Africa or other type of scammers from India or nowadays also from Jamaica.
A channel like DVR has seriously bankrupted entire call centers from India. And not once. Jim Browning just hack them and find out who they are, unmasking them and showing their faces. And hand their info over to the local police which have led to several police raids in India. There are more of this serious scambaiting channels.
One of this little channels is IRLrosie.
She does some live streams every now and then and have some interesting videos. Or must i say rather gruesome videos?
She is a voice actor, probably a professional one. The control she has over pitch, vibrato and breathing is downright amazing. She can impersonate AI voices like Siri and others into perfection. Nearly monotone speech without a single pause or breath. But also elderly woman, woman of other cultures with their typical slang and words and... children.
I heard her impersonating girls of 6, 9, 12, 14 years old and other ages with the correct pitch of the voice, the exact way how those girls speak and the words they would use included how they would pronounce them at a certain age. If you can't see IRLrosie on screen, you will not know any better that you talk with a real 7 year old girl. Jut to pick a random age.
When she does that, a other, even darker side of the average Indian tech support scammer will be shown.
They take less then 5 minutes to convince themselves they talk with a real preteen child and then go into scammer overdrive. They hear the "little girl" out about about where she goes to school, where she lives and everything about the financial situation of the parents by asking how large their home is, cars, motorcycles, boats and other belongings that can indicate how "rich" someone is.
They will try to get any information about credit cards out of the "girl" and even advice her on places where the parents could hide such information. And then they even try the child to send them the actual credit cards with the codes. But also if there is any cash at home. And jewelry of coarse. They are absolutely careless if they are children. Their psychopathic narcissism is obvious now and they don't even try to hide it. They have no ethics, no boundaries. Even professional hitman have a code of honor, you can't rent them to kill a child. But for a Indian tech support scammer that is no problem if that means money in the bank for him.
But it does not stay there because, so far with all of them i heard, one thing was even more ad hoc important then scamming money: get her nude in front of a webcam, pleasing herself. Probably to record and sell it at the dark web pedophile online world. The instructions how to please yourself was happily given. Often with the entire call center smirking in the background, even the females.
This people has no limit, they wil do everything to get money. Even to the extent of child abuse.
For me, scammers are not human anymore, even not beasts, they are lower then that.
