Just a little context to explain the calls placed to MoneyGram by Mr Goodloe over the last couple of days.
Cyril:
Dear Mr. Martinen
Thank you for the bank account information, but there is one slight problem. The problem is, I will not be able to get to my own bank in Southampton to make the transfer of the $1,500 for at least the next five or six days. This is due to the fact that I am having a new boiler, radiators and pipework installed throughout my cottage. However, do not be too worried as I feel confident that I could send the $1,500 from the MoneyGram outlet in the village. I feel that this suggested workaround would benefit us both and would certainly expedite the delivery of the consignment boxes. Please let me know if I should go ahead and send the $1,500 to the USA naming Hing Sao as the recipient?

A few days passed with not a word from Mr. Martinen. I thought the bait was over, but....
John:
Hello Cyril Surname,
Hope you're doing good. I am yet to hear from you regarding the delivery fee. Whats going on?

Cyril:
Dear Mr Martinen
How wonderful to hear from you. You'll be pleased to know that my new boiler is up and running and I can now look forward to a nice toasty winter. Obviously I want to get the £1,500 to Hing Sao as soon as possible. Therefore, I think the method I mentioned in my last email is the best option. As soon as you confirm the recipient's details, the sooner we can move forward.

Dear Cyril Surname,
Thank you for your email and thank God your new boiler is now working perfectly. Our best way of receiving monies is through bank to bank transfer but since you insisted in sending through money gram, I presented it to the board and they gave approval and gave the details of one of our agents in REDACTED below for you to send the $1,500 to through money gram or western union.
Receiver's details:
Gadara E. Goodloe
ADDRESS AND COUNTRY REDACTED
Please scan and send me the payment details when you make payment. I will update you as soon as the shipment is made.
Regards,
John Martinen.
Cyril:
Dear Mr Martinen
Good morning, and yes indeed it is certainly nice to have my new heating system up and running. The new boiler is far quieter than my old one and I was told it is far more efficient. As for the shipping fee, I will pop into the village and get that sent to Gadara E Goodloe this morning.

Dear Cyril Surname,
I have received the payment attachment but can't find the MTCN. Why? Which money app did you use? This isn't money gram as promised. Please me through before I forward it to Mr. Goodloe. I want the shipment done first thing tomorrow and you receive it on Wednesday morning your time.
John Martinen.
Cyril:
Dear Mr Martinens
In answer to your question, I sent £1,500 via MoneyGram. It quite clearly shows that on the receipt I sent you. As for the MTCN, the receipt also gives clear instructions on how Mr. Goodloe should go about obtaining it. I hope this email has been of assistance.

I have already sent the receipt to Mr. Goodloe and he said that's not how it's done. He said the MTCN should be included in the receipt. He said he's not calling the telephone number on the receipt because it's fake.
You are yet to send your address where the boxes should be shipped to.

Cyril:
Dear Mr. Martinen
I do not understand why Mr. Goodloe is making such strange statements. I have used the same method to send money to my niece Larissa on several occasions and she has never had any trouble obtaining the MTCN. As for the address issue, I provide that below. I have also provided my home telephone number.
Address: REDACTED

Hello Cyril Surname,
Mr. Goodloe have agreed to go try pick up the money. I will inform you if he's able to get it or not.
If he gets the money, be ready to receive your boxes soonest. I will send you photos of the boxes when they're ready for shipment so that you see what to expect.
Best Regards,

Dear Mr Martinen
Thank God that you have been able to talk some sense into Mr. Goodloe. I'm sure that he will not have a problem retrieving the MTCN so that you will be able to complete the delivery of my boxes. Anyway, I'm just off to bed now, but I shall be looking forward to the good news that Mr. Goodloe was successful when I check my email in the morning.

Hello Cyril Surname,
Mr. Goodloe is having some issues with retriving the money.
Please provide answers to the following questions from the message below from Gadara Goodloe.
There are some issues with retrieving the money. I called the number on the receipt to get the MoneyGram reference number. There are security questions that they ask for verification purposes. I tried to answer them and they said that 3 answers were wrong. They are: How do I know the sender? How long have I known the sender? What purpose was the money sent for?. Have Cyril Surname get this information because if I keep trying to guess they will cancel the transaction. I will be waiting to hear from you with the answers.
Best Regards,
John Martinen.
Cyril:
Dear Mr. Martinen
Good morning. I have just read your latest email and I am disappointed. Let me hastily add that the disappointment is with myself, not with Mr. Goodloe. I have to admit that in my eagerness to get my hands on my boxes I completely forgot that Mr. Goodloe would need the answers to the security questions. Never fear though, I can tell you that I used a single word answer to all of the security questions. That single word is the one I use when ending my correspondence. The word is TOODLE-PIP. If Mr. Goodloe uses that word to answer all of the security questions I am sure that he will have no further problems. Please convey an apology for my oversight to Mr. Goodloe.

Dear Cyril Surname,
Below is the message from Mr. Goodloe. What is going on?
I tried several times but I can only understand 6 of the required 8 numbers when the reference number is read. There is interference on the telephone when ever the last 4 digits are read off. I am sorry but there is nothing else that I can do right now. I will try again tomorrow.
Cyril:
Dear Mr. Martinen
Good morning. I'm not sure what is going on. Just like you I am flummoxed by Mr. Goodloe's inability to obtain the MTCN by making a simple phone call. However, I suggest that we allow him to do as he has indicated. Hopefully when he tries again tomorrow he will have more success. Please keep me updated.

Dear Cyril Surname,
Good morning, Mr. Surname.
I think it will be better for you to get back the money and send it through western union if Mr. Goodloe fails to obtain the MTCN tomorrow. I am worried because the approved date to ship your boxes by the Customs board will elapse today and a demurrage fee of $200 per day will begin to accumulate.
Mr. Goodloe said he has never experience this style of getting MTCN by calling a phone number. Western union gives MTCN immediately money is approved and sent.
I want this issued solved immediately and your boxes shipped to you.
