Once, I ended up on this really weird phishing site. I don't remember what it was called, though not that it matters. It lead me to a site with only an *ahem* adult picture and a place for a name and an email address. After inserting some of my scambaiting information, I pressed enter. It lead me directly to google. You may think that I just accidentally pressed enter, but I was using a different browser at the time!
Probably a bad idea in retrospect, but I hoped it would lead to some good possible scambaits!

There is no weird phishing sites. Or is well designed or isn't, if well designed then it can trick the user.

I received a message, that a shipping company couldn't deliver a parcel because I had not been home, and that I should 'confirm my address' (write it down) 😅

One BIG red flag is look for a way to login in. I know it sounds odd... but I've seen plenty of sites where you can sign up for an account (of course they want all your information) but oddly for a site offering what they do they have NO way to login in.
I know this sounds odd, but if you see a site for a second pretend that you already have an account and what would you do to login to your account. I've found over the years about a half dozen that forgot this and didn't even try to make it where you could log in if you already have an account.
In their minds they didn't see why they needed to make that option because THEY know they are a scam and there is nothing to log in to get... so they just get lazy and forget to add those elements to the page.
