As Christmas ends for some ,is just beginning to start for others, and is being enjoyed by all...I would like to wish all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season.
Everyone except Charles and the rest of our scammers that thought they were going to get a payday.. were counting on it for their Christmas. The baiters of Scambait Scambaiting Forum have had a direct negative impact on many a scammer and as such made it so a victim did not lose that money. We as a team saved some Christmases for some families by misdirecting and derailing these scumbag scammers plans. Not just Christmas. There are many holidays and customs celebrated during this time and those have been impacted too.
The bank/bitcoin acounts/mules reported, the scammer pain inflicted has saved at least one holiday for one potential victim.
Yes scambaiting is a hobby. Yes we do it for fun. We laugh at our idiots when they do the stuff we ask them to do...when they blow up on our phone calls and in our emails. But it is so much more. What we do has a profound impact on potential victim lives. It is thankless because the victims we save never become victims. The old lady that was able to buy Christmas presents for her grandkids because a scammer engaged with us instead of her for example.
So on behalf of all the potential victoms that were spared because of your efforts..Thank you for have done, do, and hopefully continue to do. Your efforts go so far beyond this silly forum
A moment of reflection

I listen to a lot of victim stories and it is definitely a reminder of the importance of educating the public of these scams and wasting the time of these lower lifes who have no qualms about stealing money from those who could least afford it. Of course they steal from anyone regardless of income level but it’s when they have their victims sell their homes and wipe out their entire retirement savings and leave the victims on the street homeless, that is what gets me the most.
Whether a romance scam, 419 scam, bitcoin scam, pet scam, Amazon scam, IRS/Social Security scam, tech support scam, pig butchering or whatever the scam du jour happens to be. All of these scammers are evil.
I wish there was more that we can do to the scammer such as prison time but since we can’t put them in prison, we can make their lives miserable even if on a temporary basis by baiting them as long as possible and bringing them a lot of stress and heartache and disappointment just like they do to the victims except what they do to their victims is far worse than what baiting has done to them.
