I use an ad blocker all the time. That's because the last time that I didn't have my ad blocker on, my screen was filled with naked male medical pictures of urinary tract examinations. It's not convenience; the internet in its wild west is NOT USABLE WITHOUT AN AD BLOCKER.
In the last few weeks YouTube has been lagging its streams for people with an ad blocker on. This includes people who pay for YouTube Premium; Google is so greedy that paying money does not help. Thus I have left YouTube altogether. Mainly I watch geeky videos as a Linux user. They are on Peer Tube in most cases. I've gone to Peer Tube. Sadly this has meant ending my YouTube membership of a few scambaiters who are on this forum. It is not their fault; it is 100 percent the fault of YouTube as a greedy jerk-infested tech bro pus ball run by MBA twats. Did you know that the worst McDonald's franchises in the US are run by MBAs?
I don't know specifically if the Scam Bait Central streams are lagged by YouTube for people who use ad blockers. It has been live streams that have been lagged the most in other things. Not that I regard other alternatives as being much better. Twitch, Tik tok etc would be a whole other discussion. Skeleton Syskey left YouTube and went to Twitch instead for his live streams about a year ago. A pity. I liked his dry approach.
By the way I could block the sponsorship sections on platforms. I don't. I do not block the content creator's own created ads. The future of YouTube and its Neo-capitalist bastardy is something to think about; I would not advise anyone to start a YouTube channel.
p.s yes, skeletonsyskey is still going on Twitch. Just found his Twitch channel and his last scambait stream was 16 hours ago.

AFAIK the last bout of lags was created by a bug in Adblock (plus). Premium subscribers and users of other adblockers eg ublock should not have been affected.
Personally, I have no problem with paying a fair price for youtube. Which is why, after the last price hike, I simply bought it in turkey.
Its funny how youtube can increase prices, reduce revenue for creators and fire employees at the same time.

Musical, I noticed your absence on YT and now I know why...you will be missed.
I have YT Premium and have not noticed a lag, but I will be more diligent now in seeing if there is a difference.

Thank you for the reply. I wasn't sure whether to mention your channel. Again, it is not your fault. Your last safari in Times Square was hilarious. I have enjoyed all the scambaiters at various times. SBC, Mistress Scambait, Skeleton Syskey, and many others whose faces come back to me but the name escapes me. A curious consequence is that YT only has value to me now as a downloading platform; I can avoid lag by downloading the video and watching it offline. Any YT TOS can jump in the lake. I often do this with technical videos that I want to watch away from all the YT noise and nonsense. For instance as a Reaper DAW user I have a downloaded collection of Reaper videos.
Obviously I have only scratched the surface of my assessment of YT. Why should I pay for YT Premium when so many features are garbage? For instance the comments section: you cannot easily search for your own comments. That's like we are still in 1985. Then there's the comment shadow banning that happens for no reason. I like to leave a lot of YT comments that mention characters from Hogan's Heroes, especially Colonel Klink. If I were a Scambaiter on YT I would probably have a Stalag 13 themed scambait channel.
Then there's other weird stuff on YT that is going to sound like I am some sort of nut. I often get Google paragraphs below a video; "MH370 ...go to wikipedia" or "UFOs..go to Encyclopaedia Britannica". How on earth is my interest in aviation disasters or UFOs so important that Google tells me to go to these fountains of knowledge and wisdom? How can any opinion on MH 370 harm anyone? At that point Google is not just technology: it's a Ministry of Truth ideology to control what people think. For that Google can go to Hell. It's interesting that astrology, UFOs etc governments and big tech always want to censor for some reason. When I campaigned against the Australian government's internet censorship blacklist in 2008, it got leaked and an American astrologer was on the blacklist for no reason. I told her [Lynn Hayes] and she joked that it's because power hungry Pluto had just gone into sign of government Capricorn.
I have come to deeply hate big tech. The absolute numpties and megalomaniac string puller ningbats like Musk and Pindar or what the heck his name is and Nadella. The lot of them can shove it.
p.s the genius of Hogan's Heroes often goes past people. The sub text is that people were sometimes asked to make themselves into POWs to find out what was going on in the enemy. Thus you have the game within the game of Hogan is there to find out stuff and Colonel Klink knows this and says stuff for him to pass along that Klink knows is wrong. That's why as well "why doesn't Klink just get rid of Hogan?" is because Hogan is useful to Klink. This happened for real in WW2; people were sent on a mission to become A POW to find out stuff.

Consider Rumble. A lot of political content makers went to Rumble. I moved my sidecar motorcross channel to Rumble too. Rumble is not as organized like youtube, but they are stil in the developing proces.
The reason i moved is because of their censorship of the free word and an overload on advertisements. They discovered my ad blockers and punished me with blocking my possibility to make comments and watching videos. But I could stil upload. Google contacted me with legal threats and banning. I reply that i am Frisian. They ask what that ment and i wrote that a true Frisian only kneels one time in his live and that is when he ask his girl to marry him. So i had no plans to comply with a law and human rights breaking company, my life does not depend on it and they could stick it up in their ass.
It is even not allowed to mention Rumble on youtube. I see that as a major victory for Rumble. Google fears them as google did an attempt to hack Rumble to remove them from the internet

What is a "certain kind". I might belong to that "certain kind" for being a former military medic i knew from day one "certain things" about C19 in the media was a lie.
Rumble has no censorship so everyone with an opinion is welcome, pro of con C19/WEF.
Also a lot other content creators like world travelers went to Rumble, tired of YouTube's excessive commercials, even in mid-stream.

Since YouTube only wants the "correct" opinion of MH370, I may as well say what my opinion is.
After spending a frightening amount of time wading through the evidence I do not believe the official narrative. Parts of it were found? But as I asked 3 years ago, OK then where is the scientific analysis of those parts? That could tell us a lot. If anybody could find such a report then I would be interested. But without that I can't believe that they were the claimed MH370 parts. Second, the idea that the pilot did a last mission to dump the plane is too cute to me. Especially the flight simulator. That's how you would set someone up. Third, there is not agreement on the final location; there is a group of highly qualified aerospace engineers who reached a different conclusion. Their alternative theory is on YouTube.
I think that this happened. MH370 went off course for some reason. This could have been malice. This could have been mechanical. But in either case it was certainly shadowed by military jets. You have a post 9/11 world, a plane full of fuel, and numerous political grievances in that Asian region. Of course they will never tell us poor plebs. But it's 100 percent that it was shadowed at that point. That shadowing military plane [or planes] would have been loaded hot, ready to fire. Then for whatever reason [misunderstanding, accidental firing, malicious intent from the plane etc] the military jet shot down MH370. What followed was a farcical stunt to search near Western Australia where the Malaysian government knew full well that it was not there. But that suited their cover up and avoided the numerous legal and financial outcomes.
According to YouTube that makes me a nut. I don't buy the story that TV, documentaries and politicians and Malaysia all want me to buy.
