What is ”USDT”?
They are definitely not Americans.
This seems like a partial employment scam as well as possibly a different form of advanced fee scam.
There would be no legitimate reason for anyone to contact you to tell you to add a service to your eBay sales. That is not the way eBay works. Everything you need for eBay is on eBay.
They are not asking you for money now, but they will later. I Don’t let them not asking for money upfront fool you into thinking it is not a scam. In some scams, the scammer has waited days weeks or even months before asking for money.
Since eBay is a well-known company, it is not unusual for scammers to use eBay‘s name to lend credibility to their scam. I’ve been on eBay since 2001 and I have seen a lot of scams that use eBay‘s name even though the scammer themselves is not on eBay.
If you are not familiar with eBay, the scammer will give you Instructions that Do not conform to eBay’s policies. You would not have any eBay protection if you got scammed.
Block this person and anyone else who Mentions eBay.
