Sometimes a scammer will want a picture of their "victim"; sometimes they will demand that picture.
The scammer's emails are date-stamped; his name has been changed. My comments are in bold.
We open with an email in Captain Mal's spam that looks more or less like the standard orphan format updated for the war in Ukraine, but with some bad maths to set it apart.
