$50 is very reasonable in the context of a $1M payment. Does that cover all the costs to me? I'm also wondering if you have colleagues at your end who could deal with the uk tax liability for me. I'm aware that specialists in the taxation of international transactions are probably able to charge high fees but the work involved would be less if all dealt with by a single office.

I've been thinking about my unexpected inheritance all day. There is a problem and I'm wondering if you could assist.

The problem is the tax authorities here in the uk, If the payment comes into my bank account, the tax authorities will be alerted. There is a threshold, not sure what it is but well below one million dollars, above which they are alerted automatically. A massive amount of my 1M$ will be taken in tax, maybe as much as 50%.

Would you be able to ship the 1M$ to me in cash, to my London address? Via a reputable courier of course, preferably one catering for clients with a particular need for both security and privacy. Were the entire amount in $100 bills, I think it would fit in a crate the size of one or two suitcases. A mixture of smaller donominations should still fit on a standard pallet.

I would of course pay the courier cost and also an additional amount to you personally by way of thanks for your discression.

I've not researched the matter but could probably find a suitable courier if you don't already have a trustworthy contact. I'd guess that such a service could be found for maybe $500 but even it it reached $1000 it would represent huge saving for me.
