On the whole, I do not get many 419 scams in my email. This one, though, struck me as odd because of the low dollar amount on offer.
Subject Line: @vinadelmarchile.cl
Email Text Verbatim:
"You have been chosen for a donation of humanitarian funds of $20,000 USD to help fight the outbreak of corona virus, which have become a global disaster. I Mrs. Mavis Smith have decided to donate some funds to assist the less privileged. Contact now for more details

A few grammar errors aside,this strikes me as a very amateurish attempt. Only $20 grand at stake? No long,involved implausible story behind the money?
Thoughts? Enlighten me.

My Dearest Mavis,
It can only be due to the divine will, love, and providence of Our Lord that I received your email.
There is no greater time for the strength of the Christian faith to come to the fore than in troubled and trying times.
The evil of Covid has tested Our Lord's capacities, but as a person of faith, I am convinced that the evil shall be overcome as it always has.
That you sent me an email not only reveals Our Lord's love and strength, it tells me that you too are person of deep faith and integrity who understands what is at stake.
Please make contact and we can proceed to partner forth in Our Lord's name.

Without me providing any information, Mavis supplied her lawyer's name. Stephen Blevins of Paterson, NJ. Of course there is no lawyer by such name. The address is a shoddy apartment complex with a scenic view of an electric facility.
Upon the forum'sadvice, I will keep this one simple and generic.

Upon the learned advice of Ms. Mavis Smith Brown, I am contacting you regarding the funds to be transmitted to me as a donation in the humanitarian struggle against the Covid virus.
I assume that you, along with me and Mavis Smith Brown, are a Christian of the utmost faith. It is incumbent upon Christians and their strong sense of identity and devotion to toin together, to work together, and to fight this evil that walks the land.
