A hello from an old friend!

A scammer who I safaried a couple of times and who had a hook carved for me recently sent me an email out of the blue.

Guy How are doing now? Is been long bro, u remember u did to me in 2014? 6 yes back, bro how time flies, u fooled me and made me spent money to Togo and believed ur for real and out to help me", . Wow what a small world
Where are u now give me ur WhatsApp no let's rap
I miss u bro we can talk things and good deals now I do stay in Lagos full time driving motor for a company Indomie company

I was blindsided by his email. I had never thought to hear from him again.

Brad:

Stan! I am shocked to hear from you. Yes, I am still sad that our plans never worked out, but I'm very happy that you have full-time employment.

I hope that you are safe from all of this craziness affecting the world right now. I am doing very well!

The Prince has not offered any new scam, so I was hesitant to even respond. I sent the above neutral email. He replies.

Good morning bro. My brother am happy to hear from u to. Hope ur doing well there. Are u still in USA? In fact this Virus going on now is crazy. Hope ur safe .Give me ur number
Am just managing life here bro. It has not been easy down here in Lagos with 4 kids

I don't bother with whatsapp. It is not used in my circles. I haven't a clue about its use to be honest.

Four children are tough to raise in any country my old friend, but I'm glad you are trying your best to do right by them. That is what being a father means.
