Two small victories in one bait.
I was sent the details of a UK bank account. Oh dear, the account might have disappeared (and kudos to Anna Bank)
"Also, I want to inform you that our finance manager has notified me today that our transactional relationship with Anna Bank is put on hold at the moment for admin reason. Do not make payment to the earlier bank details provided to you. Please confirm you understand that bank detail is hereby changed."
This scammer also wanted me to fill in a form:
"This is to enable me register my representation at the Secure Trust Bank"
But oh dear, again. She might just find the Secure Trust Bank website has disappeared:
Re: https://www.securetbuk.com. Hello,
This domain has been deactivated.
Thank you
Best Regards,
Matthew

That poor solicitor is having a hard time. Obviously her firm's relationship with Anna bank has been terminated, so she had to set up an account with Coconut bank (yes, they really do exist). She's been using the name of a company that was dissolved in 2017, so obviously I contacted Coconut Bank. No idea what happened there, but Annie claimed her payment wouldn't go through.
So the poor solicitor had to find one of her money mules. Oh dear, that account could have a little difficulty too as I've contacted Chase Bank. And attempted to contact the owner on Facebook.
Meanwhile, she may start experiencing a little difficulty with her email - hername@mdligassociates.biz
Phishing - mdligassociates.biz - Case #: 30016602

As I thought, the solicitors are having a wee spot of local difficulty with their email this morning.
" I hope you are not affected by our email bounce backs. Our IT department has informed us that due to some server errors, some specifics emails bounce back to senders.
They are working on it to rectify whatever could be the problem.
If you are getting my email but not able to connect to me, then you are amongst those affected."
That was sent from a hotmail address.
Obviously, Annie refuses to conduct business via hotmail and considers it most unprofessional, so she's prepared to wait until the problem is sorted. I feel a new domain name coming on.
