Hi! I just started scambaiting and I hope to find some helpful experts on this forum. Btw I am currently waiting for several ATM cards and inheritances of dying rich people, so I might suddenly disappear and start enjoying my fortunes.

Hey everyone, I started Scambaiting earlier this year and I feel like I'm getting better with it. Hoping to find new ideas on what else I can try to mess with fictional high ranking officials trying to send me fictional money.

Hello my bruddas and Sistas. Just thought I'd reintroduce myself. I'm Gala. I've been dabbling in this hobby since last year.
It's my 1st baiting anniversary this month! I do it mostly for fun, but I really appreciate the people who bait on a more consistent basis.
Thanks to Pricky and Co for the hard work, all the laughs and most importantly spreading awareness! You guys honestly leave me in stitches!

Hey folks. New member is here. I started baiting in February after seeing vids of atomic shrimp at YT. Having done some successful baiting, I found this by chance and joined. Note: English is a second language, so if things sound wronged, you know why

Welcome KawaiiAnon
I love Atomic Shrimp. He has one of the best narrator voices. I love his weird stuff in a can videos.
There are a lot of tools on this forum for baiting including used gift cards. It wasn’t my bait but one scammer’s voice went up several octaves as he complained about getting four gift cards that had no money on them.
Happy baiting.

Hey everyone. I started watching SBC for the entertainment value, but stayed for the scam awareness message, that the channel brings forth.

Hello community. I simply enjoy and appreciate everyone's work in scambaiting in 419 and tech/irs scams. I live in the US and I'm often found in live chats during streams.

Thanks! How does a safari hurt a scammer, other then being a big inconvenience? I get that it costs money (likely already stolen), but this really just impacts the low hanging fruit, right?
Please don't crucify me for asking-just wondering how its helpful in the fight.

No one is going to jump on you for asking a legit question here. Depending on the baiter, the fruit can hang quite high. Safaris are not easy by any means whether the scammer is a bright one or not. The scammers I've dealt with are not using stolen money. The money comes from their own pockets borrowing, working, or often - selling some of their goods.
Safaris waste their time and money, yes. They can also bruise their pride. Safaris are not the only baiting done to hurt them. We gather bank account and mule information to report. We can sometimes get real victim information to report and, sometimes, warn them. That hurts the scammer in a real way.

Thank you for the explanation. I totally get that sending someone packing from one country to another under some false story isnt easy. I'm trying to figure out how they are not using stolen money. Aren't these scammers whose job is to steal? Where are they getting the money to travel if not from scamming and if the money isn't from scamming it seems they sort of suck at their job. I guess its confusing if they are working their jobs or borrowing from people how much impact is this making in the fight against them? What do you mean by gathering information to report? Who gets the reports? Do they take it seriously?
Sorry for all the questions.

Hey y'all, Joined this forum a few months ago and have recently started commenting on posts here. Got into what I thought was scambaiting after watching some Kitboga and Pleasantgreen videos on YouTube but quickly realized that I was just prank calling after watching videos of Mr. Pricky and his gang of crime fighters at work Love reading the completed baits but following along the live ones is even better and I just love the Linoline, Bluelady and Birlic collaboration.

The intention of baiting is to waste as much of the scammer's time as possible and waste their resources. Scammers will scam, that's what they do and always will do. It's how they get money and if they waste it on a safari at least they can't use it to buy phones or laptops to get better at scamming. Just imagine the amount of time wasted when a scammer is on a safari. Usually days on end. If we're lucky they borrow money from people who get angry at them, but scammers lie, so borrowing might be a lie as well, we don't know. In the big fight against them it's a small impact, but on the smaller scale it has a lot of impact because the scammers who were baiting will hopefully forever keep thinking 'what if'. They get a piece of their own medicine, experiencing what it's like to completely be immerged in the story presented to you and think it's just one more step before you are rich. oh.. and welcome of course!

Sending scammers on safari isn't the only baiting that we do. In fact, it's a very small part of baiting overall as it's not easy to accomplish. Some baiters, I used to be one myself, bait strictly for mule bank account and credit card information to report as being used in fraud. It's reported to people that are connected to credit card companies and major banks in the US and the UK. Baiters can pass themselves off as scammers to "work" with the real scammers and get victim information to pass along to the proper authorities. Through the years many baiters have contacted the victims to warn them personally or reached out to their local law enforcement and make them aware of it. Baiters have been involved with and been the source of information that resulted in FBI investigations that led to whole rings of scammers being arrested all over the world. Then there are the baiters that report fraudulent websites and get them shut down by the thousands like the folks at aa419.org.
Yes, they take it seriously.

Do they take it seriously? Welcome to the forum! I can confirm they do take reports seriously. I've been baiting bank accounts. I often receive a confirmation from scammers when they come up with an excuse why I'm no longer able to make the transfer into their bank account. For instance, yesterday I received the following message from a scammer: You are a failed man. My account has been shutdown because of you.

I used to almost exclusively bait loan scammers and the occasional hitman scammer. Reporting their bank account information in the knowledge it would be investigated for fraud and likely shut down was always a nice feeling, knowing you're hurting the scammer in a considerable way.

Hi everyone! I started baiting a long, long time ago with some mixed results but gave it up a few years ago. Not sure how active I'll be but saw some familiar old names and wanted to register and say hi. I'm located in the USA on the east coast.
