Hi there. I've been a member on this page for a while, since March or May of this year, but prior to joining I lurked here and enjoyed reading the baits. I don't do any baiting myself, but I enjoy reading them and I do belong to a few scamming the scammers type groups on Facebook and enjoy reading the screenshots shared by people who have encountered scammers on social media. I'm in my 60s and live in Queensland, Australia. My favourite on YouTube is Kitboga, he really entertains as he plays with scammers. Keep up the great work, the safaris are most enjoyable. I'm very much a fan of Geoff who sold his TV for Jess. That's been a very entertaining read over the last few months.

I don't think i posted here, so i will now. I'm a little brat, love all types of scambaiters and scambaiting. While i don't often participate, I've got lots of suggestions, comments and ideas i like to share. I'm located in Ontario Canada, I'm younger than 60 but older than 50, oops that was my outside voice I'm 29 with lots of experience. π€ͺπ€ͺ Love to joke around and yes sarcasm is my only talent.
I became interested in scambaiting about 2 years ago and have watched, read ALOT of scambaiters. Hands down my favourite is.... Linoline!! The talent to carry the baits on for so long and her imagination is stellar. I still think she should write a book π I could go on and on and on, but i think i will STFU now π€£π€£π€£π€ͺπ€ͺ Thanks to each and everyone here, this little community is by far the most welcoming and always answer my stoopid questions. Happy New Year's to all, let's hope to bait more scammers and fix them like they totally deserve!!!

I believe that I have been a victim of a romance scammer lilrobReally sorry to hear you have been a victim. My advice is wait til your emotions have steadied before you consider scambaiting. Use the time to read, learn and keep yourself safe. STS

Hi, lilrob and welcome to SF. First off, I want to say how sorry I am that you were a victim of a scam. I know from talking with victims how embarrassing and frustrating it can be for you. At this point, you've done everything that you can possibly do: You know it's a scam and you are not going to let it continue. If you have any of the scammer's real information, I'd recommend you report that to your local law enforcement. I understand your rage and need for some revenge, but trying to bait your scammer is really one of the worst things you can try to do right now. Doing so will bring no satisfaction and might even bring you back into the scam. Scambaiting is sorta like lawyering in the sense that it's best done by someone that is not emotionally attached to the scammer. If you'd like the names of some victims of scammers' support sites, please send me a message via our PM system and I'll be glad to provide some for you. If you would like to hang around here, let some time go by, and learn how to properly scambait, we'd love to have you stay. Either way, I hope you take time to heal.

Hello. I am realizing I am a bit late to completing my tasks as a new member... Apologies! I am sick of getting called by relatives and them telling me of the new scam going around. Even I have lost some money to this, once I even knew it was but for some reason still complied.
NO MORE! I'm here to help however I can, learn how to put my time to use, and how to report those I have found. Looking for input. best practices, advice, etc. from anyone willing to share.
Thank you!

Better late than never! I joined in 2021. Thanks to You tube algorithms I came across Scambait Central... listened to the General Toilet video and got hooked. Then I listened to a live stream and naturally progression dictated that I join the forum. Loved it since... I truly marvel at the creativity and ingenuity of the scambaiters on this forum and SBC... the improvisation is top notch and highly entertaining. What you scambaiters do also has positive indirect effects... Since I got so interested in scambaiting, my wife has become extra vigilant with calls and emails... one day she was on the phone and the 'agent' requested her credit card details. She told me that she was about to provide the details then she remembered all the calls I listen to and the stories I tell her and she hanged up! Keep up the great work.

I am Agen'Ess Bee or agent Bumbaclot to my friends >lololol - I am Irish and my first inkling of scammers was back in the 80's when my Parents received a letter ( yes, the old postal script) that they had won a lottery and they should send money (cash) to allow the funds to be shipped to Ireland! sounds familiar eh? and that was back in the 80's so I am not sure what country the letter came from but a very familiar script!
I am a long time fan of scambaiting and finally gave in to my obsession and started to actually subscribe to and join various scambait streams- so no longer a lurker>lol I only started subscribing etc about 3 years ago, but am not quite a newbie- I found this forum Via SBC (thank you Mr Pricky). I love everything scambait related from Tech support, PCH, Amazon scams and a couple of very very talented forum members ( blue lady and linoline "to name but 2" of the many talented romances baiters here) have tuned me in to the Romance scams which are very addictive <lol- but my favorite is the ole 419 and have met (virtually/online chat) lots of great people from this forum who share my love of scambaiters.
A big shout out to all baiters- you are all legends. Regards AEB
BTW- My parents never sent money- Ireland in the 80's was the worst place to try scam people as about 70% of the population was unemployed- everyone was skint >lol

Hi! I am Boonie Stomper. I am all thumbs figuring out how to use this site. (Am I even doing this right, hitting 'Reply' next to Introduce Yourself Here blue box? Or am I overlooking something?) Anyway, I landed here after winning a huge prize for the third time in 3 weeks from allegedly PCH. Three different caller, from 3 different places and callback numbers given to me once I tired of beating around the bush and told them I would have to call them back. BTW the scammers called my antiquated landline so it's assumed they have a name and address linked to this number on their dialing list. So I proceed with caution. I also assume for messages left that the number the system says the message is from is spoofed. That phone, incidentally, gives me loads of exercise both physically (have to jump up & race to answer before 4th ring, or call goes to voicemail), and mentally (have to exercise my creativity, think fast, and choose correct words). I also get loads of satifaction, whatever mood I'm in, leading them on one way or another whilst yielding the callers no value whatsoever. Approximately 99-1/2% of calls to that number have only their own agenda, to take advantage of anyone they can. Missed calls usually do not leave voice messages. Those that do, get a call to the number they wish called from a different phone, and from SWIM. The 1st of the 3 PCH calls was this variety. Funny, but even though an unlisted VOIP number called their number, and a different name than the one connected with the landline voicemail, the party reached was able to pull up my information and explain what I won (in more detail after a 2nd callback later that day), trying their best to elicit any possible angle at getting processing money, and ultimately being left with my promise to get back to them after awhile (a longer delay tactic). I submitted a report to the FTC, but somehow I doubt they will actually attemp to take advantage of the active case before it goes dead. Am I on the right track? The 3rd call is still on the hook til tomorrow (2nd one was released since I was in a hurry)

First, let me say how happy I am that you've decided to join our little site, booniestomper! We have a good time here at the expense of several scammers. The second is please, please, please drop those scammers that have your real-life information. It's so important that we made it one of our top rules - the top! scambaitingforum.com/thread/94/safe-baitingThere are several instances where a scammer got mad at a potential victim and "swatted" them. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SwattingThere are so many scammers out there without your information that you can have your pick. Stick around, learn how to bait safely, and join the fun! P.S. You're getting around the site like a pro.

^^^Thanks for the welcom and the well intenioned warning, but I think you misinterpreted. The scammer who left a message on my listed landline was called back from a different number (so they could not possibly know which message was responding. They merely acted as if they did, saying the equivalent of ...oh yeah, Ive got your info now, and are you sitting down, cuz ur the 2nd place grand prize winner... Had I actually called on the phne the scammer had left message on, he theoretically could see this on his caller ID, and could do a lookup to know who's # it was at what address. Since I faked & still was the winner as stated in their voice message, it obviously was a scammer. Now, caller 2, which called and I anwered, i let go with a warning of my skepticism after he asked to speak to (my name) and asked if (my address) was the right place to deliver the prize, and I advised that I've got their number and will report to FBI if my check doesn't arrive as promised. LoL Caller 3, today, I also answered, but they never mentioned any address or tried to verify who was talking to them. I dodged their questions with my poor & sick angle, and stalled for time to try and muster up the amount of money needed for the One Vaniila card to lock in prize delivery (which was wanted done today if possible, which of course means I stall till tomorrow - they called back about 30 minutes after I ended their 1st call). FTC report filed, but I think they won't do anything except collect the dat for later analysis... And, that brings me here! I'd love it if someone skilled could mess their scheme up real good, but alas, it seems the site rules don't allow that? Will see what happens when I become a different voice tomorrow when they try my number again. I may tell them no, I didn't tlk to you, that must have been my dog sitter who my calls were forwarded to, (or something) LoL
