I (Mr. John) have for about a year been “friend” with Reverend X from Nigeria, who has a very good deal available to me. We have spoken several times on phone and I have presented him for all kind of nonsense and promises over this time. Often I purposely phoned him very late just to ask him one or two stupid questions about the deal. I can’t remember how many MTCN numbers I have given him so far – but I know that non of them has given him any cash so far His wife or lover has been very angry with me. A few times she has taken the phone out of the hands of her husband/boyfriend and cursed me – and then told me never to phone them again. Sometimes when I have phoned him, one of his “business colleagues” have taken the phone and pretended to me Reverend X. He has also given me a lot of curses and has disliked me very much. For two months, it was impossible for me to get in touch with my friend Reverend X over the phone. He simply did not want to talk to me again, but surprisingly he was very friendly when I finally got in touch with him about 3 weeks ago. We are now good friends again Making a long story short, I have promised to send him a package via our local church with these items: 2 MacBook Pro laptops 3 Iphone 12 A chocolate box with $5,500 Reverend X has given me the name of a lady as the receiver of the parcel. I believe it most likely is his wife/girlfriend, who several times have insulted me in the past. Now I hopefully can make everything good again I must admit, that I have little hope that this will end up with a real safari, but I think I will try anyway. At least I believe I will be able to frustrate him once more If I manage making him believe that the package is real, then it will be necessary to change the name of the receiver at some point, because I don’t believe it is a good idea to send his wife/girlfriend to Benin to pick up the parcel Let’s see how it will go ....

The big day has arrived for Reverend X over in Delta State Nigeria. Sister Maya has just sent him this nice email:
09:05
Dear Reverend X
Please let me introduce myself. I am sister Maya, secretary of the church where brother John is a member. Brother John has told me about you and your church, and that you and him are friends. He has suggested that our church should start to support the work that you and your church is doing in Nigeria.
The committee at the church had a meeting about two weeks ago, where brother John also was present, and it was agreed at the meeting that our church and our sponsors should start to donate to the work you are doing for the Lord.
I am glad to inform you that I have made the shipment today with the shipping company the church has been using for the last 5 years. The shipment has been made to:
Mrs De....... Ma....... 1x N....... Road, Asaba Delta State of Nigeria
The package contains these new unused items that are meant for your personal use and to the use at the church:
- 2 MacBook Pro laptops - 3 IPhone 12 - 1 luxury chocolate box, different flavours
All the items are packed in original boxes.
In the chocolate box, I have hidden an envelope with money from the church ($5,500), which is meant for your congregation and your charity work. I do want to ask your discretion concerning this because strictly it is not allowed to send money this way. The shipping company does not know about the money.
I attached for you the invoice of the shipping company and you can track the package through their website.
Please be aware that the church has paid all the costs related to the transport of the parcel (customs duties, insurance, handling and transport) so that for the receiver there is nothing to pay upon delivery. If you have any questions or issues, please let me know.
Please confirm that you have read my message. I want to wish you all the best with your congregation and your charity work, and I pray for the Lord to bless your ways.
Be blessed Maya

Good afternoon, Sir!
My name is Pe....... Jo........... and I am the account officer responsible for the delivery of your parcel. The internal security rules impose a certain conduct regarding the correct authentication of the Receiver, therefore we need to be sure that the person who responds to the emails (you) is the right person empowered to take the parcel. I hope you understand the reason for these safety measures. So, to complete the authentication procedure, I need from you the following details:
- your full name (as Receiver of the parcel), exactly as it appears in your identity papers,
- the full delivery address and your phone number, as originally sent by the Sender (Maya ........),
- a good quality scanned copy of one of the following documents: National ID Card or Passport or Driver License.
At the time of delivery, you must be able to authenticate yourself with the original identity document, and the representative of our company will verify this by comparing it with the copy already in the internal file. If you do not have valid identity documents (these situations are quite common in Africa), then we will use a biometric authentication procedure (used for people who have not permanently resided and no legally established identity). The Sender paid all the costs related to the transport of the parcel (customs duties, insurance, handling and transport) so that for The Receiver there is nothing to pay upon delivery. If you have any questions or issues, please let me know.
Thank you for using TSC, the finest in 5-Star Customer Service!
Pe.........
