Trying to get to know a scammer

Instead of being annoying over Facebook Messenger to a scammer I tried to talk with him on a personal level and get him to understand what he is doing is wrong, I am pretty sure I didn't get through to him and he is still in denial. But I broke character for the first time and kinda happy I did... who knows, maybe he will look back one day on our conversation and re-evaluate his life. I doubt he will... but at least I tried.
