He is indeed. I believe he is always thinking that this time nothing can go wrong. That said, he has a big respect for Barrister Kof and his success in business. My character in the story is an elderly naive divorced man who has inherited several properties. I get a very good income from renting out these properties. However, Sir Godwin has forbidden me to talk to both current and new customers until the transaction has been completed because there is a risk that they can be working for Barrister Kof  |

Update:I have had my phone switched off since Wednesday evening, pretending to me on the sea where there is no mobile connection. This evening I switched my phone on again and I have now told both Sir Godwin and Dr. Smith, that my friend and I have arrived safely with my boat in the town Urk. It is about one hour by car from Amsterdam to Urk. I have sent Dr. Smith a message and told him, that my friend and I are very tired after the long trip on sea and that I would really appreciate if he could come to Urk tomorrow to meet me and collect the £28,500 from me. I have not got a reply from him yet, but I am expecting that he will try his hardest to make me come to Amsterdam. Urk marina has a very good live webcam, that can give us some good videos and pictures of the Diplomat scammer(s), if I manage to convince them to travel. We'll see tomorrow how it will go.

Update - an evening trip for Dr. Smith from Den Haag to Urk:Dr. Urk just phoned me 3 minutes ago. He was on the highway right now, driving from Den Haag to Urk The trip takes about one and a half hour (3 hours both ways). I told him that we are very tired after the long boat trip and that we had gone to bed, but he insisted to come today. He said that he had promised his wife to go on holiday tomorrow (using the money that he wants to collect from me I believe), and that when you have given such a promise to your wife, you cannot change it This moron has not fully figured out where Urk is located ... he seems just go be guessing which way to go. I have tried to send him the address with an SMS, but he has not received it. I don't know now everything will play out this evening, but I am sure he will not be in very good mood when he is back in Den Haag at maybe 2 o'clock this night. His wife will also be very mad when she learn that there is no money for the planned holiday trip This it the link to the webcam where we hopefully will see the scammer very late this evening. The area is quite good lighted (at least as I am writing this post), so I hope we get a good video of him.

Update 23:10:I have just spoken to Dr. Smith and he has told me that they will be in Urk in about 30 minutes; that means around 23:30 UK time. Dr. Smith told me that it's him and his driver that are coming to meet me and collect £28,500 from me. 23:50:I have had Dr. Smith on the line for almost half an hour and I have tried to guided him to the Tourist Info at the marina in Urk. It has not been going well at all. Dr. Smith is TOTALLY DRUNK this evening and I had to repeat myself 100 times. At the end he was very tired and started to talk about sleeping They are now on their way back to Den Haag. I asked him how long it took for them to drive to Urk. He said 2 hours. This means that they will waste 4 hours on the road this evening for absolutely nothing. We have agreed to talk tomorrow on how we can "have more fun"

Update:Dr. Smith has cancelled the holiday trip with his wife and is now making himself ready to travel to Urk for the second time to meet me. Just as yesterday he is coming with a driver  Mr. Smith told me, that they didn't go back to Den Haag yesterday night, but that they have stayed at a hotel this night. I have sent him a map over the marina area and also marked where he shall wait for me. Of course I have chosen a sport that should be very good for the live webcam to catch him/them. When I spoke to Dr. Smith 3 minutes ago I said to him that I feel we are very close now to finalize the deal. He replied that we are not close, but that WE ARE THERE ALREADY We have agreed to meet today at 2 o'clock UK time.

Update - 13:46 (UK time):
I have just spoken to Dr. Smith again. He has been watching football, but is now ready to head towards Urk with his driver. He and the driver slept last night at a hotel in the town Almere. The trip from Almere to Urk taks about 40 min. My best guess is that he will be in Urk around 14:30 (UK time).
Update - 14:08 (UK time):
I have just spoken to both Dr. Smith and his boss (for the very first time). The boss tried to convince me to take a taxi to Almere, because some of the roads to Urk are closed because of road work. Dr. Smith and his driver had a hard time to get to the Urk marina yesterday evening and they don't want to risk the same problems today. Of course I refused to take a taxi to Almere. Instead we agreed that I should send them an address in Urk that they shall use for their GPS.
Update - 15:55 (UK time):
I have just spoken to Dr. Smith. He told me that he's not coming to meet me himself this time, but one called Van Edwards will come instead. He is on his way to Urk now together with his driver. I am expecting to get a phone call from the new Diplomat very soon. It is my impression that the chairman (that I have spoken to once) don't want to send Dr. Smith to see me because he was totally drunk when he went to Urk yesterday night to see me.

I have just spoken to the new Diplomat, Mr. Van Edwards. He says that they are close to Urk now, but they have some challenges to enter Urk because of roadwork. They have to take an other route. Van Edwards expect that they will be in Urk in 20 min.

I have just spoken to Diplomat Van Edwards again. He said that they have had big problems in the traffic, but they are expecting to arrive in Urk in 10 minutes.

I managed to get two video clips of the scammers, but they never accepted to place themselves where I wanted them to wait for me. I told them, that I wanted them to stand a certain place so my friend of securety reasons could see them from the boat. They refused to do so. I think they refused because they had found out that there was a life camera at the place But anyway, I have got what I wanted: 5 very frustrated and angry scammers (4 in Netherlands + Sir Godwin in Nigeria) I will post the two video clips on the thread later. The scammers have now left Urk and now they are on their ways back to Amsterdam |

Update - 20:35 (UK time):Dr. Smith has just phoned me. He said him and his driver are on their way to Urk and that they will be there very soon. Update - 20:50 (UK time):Dr. Smith has phoned me again and he told me that he will be in Urk in 50 min. I asked him where he was driving from and he said that he was driving from Brussels. The reason he sent his assistant Mr. Van Edwards to pick up my money earlier today was because he had to travel to Brussels. He said he is very sorry that it didn't go well between me and Mr. Van Edwards and he was blaming Mr. Edwards. If Dr. Smith is driving from Brussels to Urk in Netherlands to see me this evening, then we have a full safari (a crossing of country boarders). I hope and trust that he will meet up this evening

He said that Dr. Smith is less than 10 min. away from Urk now. Let's see how it will go. Yesterday it didn't go so well, but that was very much so because he was very drunk. |

I am dealing with two very frustrated guys this evening. That is for sure. First I phoned Sir Godwin and told him that I had made the payment to Dr. Smith and that everything went very well. Sir Godwin was VERY GLAD to hear that ..... Then Dr. Smith has made countless calls to me (the phone is even ringing as I am writing this post), but I have not taken the phone. Two minutes ago Sir Godwin phoned me and he was very frustrated. He said that I had not met Dr. Smith, but I said yes that I had. I blamed him for having taken a rubbish Diplomat one more time that is working for Barrister Kof. In some min. I am going to send an email to Sir Godwin from Barrister Kof where I will thank Sir Godwin for good business one more time. I will tell him that Dr. Smith works for HIM! |

Update:After the safari with Dr. Smith and the mini-safari (trip) with Mr. Van Edwards yesterday, I had my phoned switched off till about 15:00 today. When I switched it on Sir Godwin started to ring me right away. I choose not to take the phone because I wanted to pretend to be very angry at him for bringing such rubbish Diplomats into our deal that only want to steal my money. When I finally phoned Sir Godwin this evening (after I had about 20 missed calls from him), I told him that earlier today I had said to myself, that I never want to speak to him again. I told Sir Godwin that he is partly responsible for what happened yesterday evening. I also said to Sir Godwin that I am absolutely convinced that Dr. Smith is working for Barrister Kof. Furthermore I told Sir Godwin that I had been in contact with the police in the Netherlands and reported both Dr. Smith and Barrister Kof in Ghana. They will now contact the police in UK and Ghana in order to track them down. Sir Godwin told me that he has spoken to Dr. Smith several times since yesterday evening and he is denying that he has received the £28,500 from me He said that he waited 30 min. on the harbour in Urk, but I never showed up. After the conversation I had with Sir Godwin this evening it was my impression, that he believe more my story than Dr. Smith's explanation. Sir Godwin said that Dr. Smith had told him, that he is owing the driver 1,000 Euro (500 Euro for the trip Friday evening + 500 Euro for the trip Saturday evening). Sir Godwin said that he is very very tired of this business and that he tomorrow will explain for the board of Central Bank of Nigeria what happened this weekend. He doesn't know yet what they will decide, but most likely the consignment will be sent back to Nigeria. Godwin then told me that I must get a new laptop, a new email address and a new telephone number. All of them shall ONLY be used in connection with my £10M funds. I can use my existing phone number and email address for other purposes. I told him that when I am back in the UK I will ask my daughter to help me with all this. It is my clear impression that the fun with Sir Godwin is not over yet One other thing Sir Godwin told me was that he has not checked his email address since the incident yesterday evening. It was my impression that he knows that something "nice" is waiting in his email box, but it is just too painful to read it. I am of course referring to the mocking emails from Barrister Kof I got some video clips of Dr. Smith yesterday evening, that I will post very soon. It was a dark when he arrived in Urk and the videos doesn't show his face very well. Nevertheless, they are still okay

Here is a video-clip of the very frustrated scammer Dr. Smith at the marina in Urk, Netherlands. Him and his driver drove from Den Haag to Urk very late Friday evening, but because of closed roads due to roadwork they didn't manage to drive down to Urk marina. They were on the road for hours but they finally gave up and went to Almere in Netherlands where they lodged at a hotel. The next day Dr. Smith had to travel to Brussels, so he sent his associated Mr. Van Edwards to meet me in Urk. Mr. Van Edwards and his driver drove from Amsterdam to Urk - a trip that took them many hours due to closed roads. When they finally arrived they refused to follow my requirements and left without having got any money from me. When Dr. Smith heard that they had left without getting any money from me, Dr. Smith asked if he could come himself to meet me in the evening. Of course I said yes. Then him and his driver spent several hours on the road, driving from Brussels in Belgium to Urk in Netherlands. They arrived at Urk marina at 00:20 (local time) and he spent about 30 minutes waiting for me until he finally gave up. Dr. Smith now owes the driver 1,000 Euro in total for the trip on Friday and the trip on Saturday This is Dr. Smith at the Urk marina late Saturday evening. I had him on the phone when this recording was made. I told him to hold up his arm so I could see him from my boat. As you can see at the end of the video, he is doing just that |

Update:Godwin has called me several times this morning, but I didn't pick up his calls. When I phoned him back 15 min. ago he asked me if I had been in touch with Dr. Smith. I told Godwin that I had phoned the police in Netherlands this morning and asked if they had any news concerning my case. When they said that there was no news I told them that I was planning to phone Dr. Smith. The police strongly warned me to do so since the case now is in the hand of the police. Dr. Smith and Sir Godwin have been talking this morning and Dr. Smith is telling Sir Godwin that I had given him many instructions on where on the harbour he should place himself, that he should hold up his arm etc., but that I never came to him with the money. He is saying that this is all a setup against him. When I spoke to Sir Godwin this morning he said something like this "My very good friend Mr. John, you know that we have always been very open and honest with each other. Please tell me honestly if you made the payment to Dr. Smith or not". Of course my reply was "Yes, I gave him the money" Godwin told me otherwise that the board for the Central Bank of Nigeria is going to take the money back to Nigeria (from the Netherlands) today. I asked Sir Godwin if this means that I have lost my funds. He said no, I am still the rightful owner of this money. He said that we now have had 7 or 8 Diplomats involved in my case, but it has always been going bad. Therefore we need to do things differently next time. It seems that the fun with Sir Godwin isn't over yet. Godwin has still not checked his email account for some days, but it is my clear impression that he is expecting to find an email from Barrister Kof in it. Godwin has gone to a conference (without his laptop) and he will be back home on Thursday. At that time he will check his email. I am looking forward to the reaction
