About a week ago from my burner phone number I called a Microsoft Refund scammer a few times over an hour and got them angry. Then life got in the way and wasn't able to do much scambaiting period.
Then I noticed last few days I would get several phone calls from the same number VERY early in the morning (US). A time that no legit company would call. I tried calling them back from a few of my burner numbers and they wouldn't answer. When they would call me it was always from the same number and they would only ring 1-2 times.
Today I got called twice from the same number and had a prompt to select #1 to connect the call. I pressed it and there was a strange woman on the other end who started in on a meh scambaiting technique. Going on and on about me and asking if this wasn't Microsoft and asking to speak to my manager. Woman was American as she had no accent at all. I told her she was attempting to call a scammer and they transferred her to me. Then an hour later someone with an obvious fake voice was trying to make fun of me and Microsoft, and I had to explain to them that I wasn't the scammers.
I am pretty sure I am going to have to change my burner number again... seems a Microsoft scammer is forwarding calls from people they know are scambaiters to me. I heard others talk of this happening but this is the first time it has happened to me.

That's the first time I've ever heard of such a thing.
