On Facebook, I got a friend request from someone claiming to work for Facebook. I accepted, thinking this could lead to some fun. This person then tells me I won the Facebook lottery, just by existing, and sent me an email address for FedEx to write to. Of course, this is not the real FedEx. After a few days, I managed to piss off the person in chat and they blocked me. The fake FedEx however, wants the money, and are apparently holding my Facebook winnings. I was given the names of three possible mules to send Walmart Moneygram or Western Union money orders to, or a third option being a Bitcoin receipt, which I’ll never get.
Where do I take it from here?

One option for you is to tell the scammer that you will only send the fees by normal bank transfer and get a bank account to report.
Then, of course, the transfer will fail and you can get another one.

I told the guy I was going to an outlet, then after a few things I was taking care of today dealing with my back pain, forgot I was baiting these guys.

I wonder if I should do Pricky’s “Kofi Mensah” chop on the fake FedEx? How would that work through email?
