Backstory: This person tried to add me as a friend on Facebook. Instead of adding this profile that was created that night; I instead declined the friend request but sent a message to her to see if she would "Play".
She was fun and got her to confuse herself multiples times as she kept forgetting where she lived. (Houston, Baytown and even Austin... but NOT Galveston!). She claims her being confused is what caused her to forget what town/city she lives in. She also took an hour to find out what time it was where she "lived". NTM, I did also ask her to call my burner phone number so I could hear my computer ring. Yes, you heard that right... I lost my computer and was trying to get her to help me find it by calling it and listening for my computer to ring. I told her I was talking to her on a "Polly Pocket Decoder" currently but once I found my computer I would send her the itunes gift cards she wanted.
At the end I had her click a link that tracked her information. She then got upset about not getting her gift cards, she got forwarded to the Vanilla Gift cards website. I then pretended to look into the issue and "Found out" that someone in Nigeria had accessed the site and that they must of messed with the site I saved the iTunes gift card images to. I told them I would gladly report them to the Cable provider, phone provider and to the local police as that person stole from them as they took her gift cards.
This scammer was in a panic at the end and didn't want me to notify the Nigerians cable provider, phone provider and cops etc... while still insisting it wasn't them. They finally blocked me on Facebook but I continued to file reports with the proper authorities and doubt that they will do anything about this scammer but who knows, it never hurts to try.
This bait was done overnight while I was at work and at times IRL employment concerns came up and I had to deal with, but over the night I had a lot of fun.
Conversation is below with minimal edits for various reasons. This person is still active on facebook, for now, but has me blocked.

NOTE: I did NOT accept her friend request and noticed this was part of the typical script they copy and paste. I decided to mess with this scammer and prevent them from being able to use their script and force this scammer to type out responses. I did manage to get a tad crazy and this scammer didn't know any better. If absurd humor isn't your thing I would say skim through the middle of this conversation till you get towards the end. I had fun though, and wasted this scammers time in the process and got them angry at times

NOTE: I was testing the waters to see if this was the webcam chat scam they were running. In the past I've been able to befuddle the scammers by attempting to run the same scam and be one step ahead of them and watch them have to respond to my questions and not use their precious script while at the same time trying to progress their scam at the same time. It is difficult for many scammers I decided to quickly drop this approach afterwards and go with another favorite way to bait... which is to get them to help me find my lost device by calling it for me so I can see if I hear it ring in my house. This gives me a phone number I can use to later send a grabify link (if needed) and also allows me to also speak with the scammer on the phone.

I did this to see how she would react as many liars have a hard time keeping their lies straight and she struggles at first to remember she never said she lived in Galveston Texas. I contacted Cobra net, interpol and their phone provider, almost done
END OF CONVERSATION AS AT THIS POINT SHE BLOCKED ME. Note it was strange at first though... I am used to scammers blocking me but in this case the image of the scammer vanished as if the account was deleted. After about 20 minutes though all of her images etc... came back so I am not sure if she deleted her account... or if it was just a glitch with Facebook. I looked her up on my alternate facebook account and her profile is still up but she still has my main account blocked.
She was fun and got her to confuse herself multiples times as she kept forgetting where she lived. (Houston, Baytown and even Austin... but NOT Galveston!). She claims her being confused is what caused her to forget what town/city she lives in. She also took an hour to find out what time it was where she "lived". NTM, I did also ask her to call my burner phone number so I could hear my computer ring. Yes, you heard that right... I lost my computer and was trying to get her to help me find it by calling it and listening for my computer to ring. I told her I was talking to her on a "Polly Pocket Decoder" currently but once I found my computer I would send her the itunes gift cards she wanted.
At the end I had her click a link that tracked her information. She then got upset about not getting her gift cards, she got forwarded to the Vanilla Gift cards website. I then pretended to look into the issue and "Found out" that someone in Nigeria had accessed the site and that they must of messed with the site I saved the iTunes gift card images to. I told them I would gladly report them to the Cable provider, phone provider and to the local police as that person stole from them as they took her gift cards.
This scammer was in a panic at the end and didn't want me to notify the Nigerians cable provider, phone provider and cops etc... while still insisting it wasn't them. They finally blocked me on Facebook but I continued to file reports with the proper authorities and doubt that they will do anything about this scammer but who knows, it never hurts to try.
This bait was done overnight while I was at work and at times IRL employment concerns came up and I had to deal with, but over the night I had a lot of fun.
Conversation is below with minimal edits for various reasons. This person is still active on facebook, for now, but has me blocked.

After a couple set backs I was later able to email it to her using a email account I created just for this bait. I named it after the fake company I work for which I never got to fully exploit. NOTE: The scammer starts to now talk me out of reporting the Nigerian who "stole" the gift cards I sent to her. I like how she kept insisting that wasn't here but at the same time trying to talk me out of reporting them to the authorities. I actually did contact their computer internet provider, their phone provider, Nigerian Interpol and even the Nigerian Cyber crimes division all through various emails and gave them this scammers information.

I contacted Cobra net, interpol and their phone provider, almost done
END OF CONVERSATION AS AT THIS POINT SHE BLOCKED ME. Note it was strange at first though... I am used to scammers blocking me but in this case the image of the scammer vanished as if the account was deleted. After about 20 minutes though all of her images etc... came back so I am not sure if she deleted her account... or if it was just a glitch with Facebook. I looked her up on my alternate facebook account and her profile is still up but she still has my main account blocked.
