I've heard that soundboard so many times but never thought much about the origins of Mr. Randy Tom. Somehow in my subconscious I always thought of him as Pricky's first scammer, but I know that's probably not true.
But now I'm curious, who was he? What was his scam? When he says "I'm coming with one of my officials", what was that about? If anyone could give me the full story or even just the cliff notes, I would be very interested.

It's a collection of recordings from different scammers. As far as I know, the only one that is from a scammer called Randy Tom is the recording that says "Hello, this is Mr Randy Tom speaking, how are you?"

As far as I remember, Randy Tom was an early safari for Mr P, and an extensive one.
However, something to note about the Randy Tom soundboard is that it's made up of quotations from many different Lads.

In 2011, I was baiting a Loan Scammer calling himself Randy Tom. It led to a trio of Safaris that made my name as a top Safari Baiter (the 'Hell Safari' series). Working alone, I safari'id him from Nigeria to Ghana. He returned and then went to mid-east Republic of Benin, where he slept and begged on the streets for 2 weeks. Later, he went to Kano for 3 days (a miserable, 12 hour bus ride and 3 days sleeping rough at the motor park).
He wasn't my first (I began in 2006) but was certainly my first exceptional Safari'ing Scammer.

That must be the worst 2 weeks of hell he has ever experienced, especially if he didn't understood basic French. Maybe he learnt a couple a trick or two while living on the streets, like how to prepare a nice meal using captured pouched rat or how to steal a pack of Indomie from a hawker's cart undetected.  |

To answer Chuckbutt's questions: 1. I plan to post it here. 2. At each location he was expecting to collect a consignment of cash. In RoB, he hadn't brought enough money to travel home, so he was stranded. In Kano, he held on for a few days, believing his consignment would be delivered to him. Kano is a majority Muslim city and we have found that Southern Christian Scammers have had a hard time there. He stayed in the Motor Park for his own safety.   |

Hearing Mr. Randy Tom always cracks me up  I had also though that he would be in his 50s. Was ‘Randy Tom’ actually a fake name that the scammer gave himself? In the ID-card there is the name Al** Ke*** |

^^^ When it became clear that a Safari was necessary he had a fake ID in the name of Alex Kelvin, so he invented a Company Secretary.
