Hello! Nice to meet you all. I don't bait but I take great delight in creating compromising pictures of romance scammers, using their BIP / selfie photos from active baits (needed for their <non-existent> parcel ). I'm self taught but they seem to pass muster. It's a joy seeing their website (created by Linoline) hit the interwebs for all to enjoy, especially the scammer and hopefully some of his "friends"! It never gets old.

Hello all! I found out about scambaiting from a friend's social media post a few years back. I went to the link for that <removed>website and was hooked. Since then I've found the Scambait Central YouTube channel and i haven't looked back. I don't personally bait scammers but i enjoy those that do!

My name is Ivy, I am from New Jersey. I have never personally done any scambaiting but have a viewer and supporting of a number of different scambaiters such as Mr.Pricky, Mistress Scambait, Trilogy Media. I wish I had the resources and ability to become a scambaiter myself.

Hi, I've created a MEWE thread here. I'm an admin on one of the groups.
Too many scammers are filtering through to the group(MEWE).
I have many in my chats there, claiming to be beautiful woman, but many I've gotten their real email addresses, need advice on the best and next step to waste their time but not lose them.

Welcome to SF, jay2kay! There are many active and completed baits to read. Some of them are "romance" baits and have many ideas for you to glean through.

Hello from the land of sauerkraut and bratwurst. I've been baiting for a while - started around 2010. Have always done romance baiting to collect piggies and just generally frustrate the lads, then started reading the safaris and wanted to try my hand at going a bit further with my lads. RL tended to get in the way at times but, hopefully, this next year (and retirement) will give me time to do a bit more.

I've been baiting for at least 12 years, but probably longer. I have an anti scam blog that I've run since 2008 and just recently (September) started a YouTube channel. Baiting has always been by email/message except for the likes of computer scams etc, where they start by phoning you. I've had fun with No Fault Accident scammers in the past.
I'd like to get into baiting via phone/online calling - but I need to work out how to do it in a way that feels comfortable for me. I actually missed a Hangout call on Christmas Day. Yes, really, unlike myself the scammer apparently had nothing else to do on Christmas Day. I was busy eating and drinking - as you do!
My online alter ego has a GMail account which she (as in I) have used since 2013.
Pre YouTube channel my aim has always been to educate, because that's how it all started. I used to teach IT to adults and the domain name I own was set up as a resource for attendees on a workshop I used to run for local non profit organisations, teaching them how to stay safe online. I am NOT a cyber security expert in way, shape or form. But in those days people didn't even know they needed anti-malware software - can you believe/remember that?
Once the workshops finished I was left with the domain name, so Keep Safe On The Net the blog was born.
