It was the airline that cancelled the flight, not me, so they might allow me to change destination by way of apology. It's a similar distance isn't it, London-Turkey instead of London-Athens? Please give me your statement regarding the circumstances of my stolen money as soon as you can. Even if I don't get the payment back in my account before I go to Turkey, I want to get all the paperwork for my refund claim submitted. Get back to me if you are unclear as to what they require.

On 2021-12-09 I received a Slip of Money gram from Mr. Jim Green but refused to go money gram office for the money because I was ordered to call a Phone number stated on the Slip, which i saw as not the policy of Money gram.

Who is Mr.Oliver Ibori Oyinlola? I don't recognize the name as somebody I've ever had dealings with.

If we get the money back, as seems possible, all is well. However, if the refuse, would you be willing to split that loss between us? So you would pay half of the £5094 from your $7 million and I would pay the other half? I wasn't entirely my fault that we were robbed so it's not fair that I should pay the price on my own.

has paid to exactly the account you gave me. So everything looks good.

You still seem to have a sticky keyboard. Did you spill beer on it or
something like that? I know that can be a problem because I did it

They planted the virus in your computer to enable them to access your email, that is why they can be able to access all your emails and replace my message with theirs. The Virus is in your Computer and they know your email and it's password, so you need a new one email ID and a new computer or Whatsapp number

So, in order to be on safe side, you have to buy new laptop and create new Email ID with different Password, and make sure this is ONLY for our communication.

Or you provide me with a Telephone Number or Whatsapp Number for Phone communication. Please follow my lead,to be on safe side.

If I order a new laptop now, it won't arrive until january anyway. Plus my computer isn't for the lap so maybe it will still do, I have it under the desk. Only the tv bit is on top of the desk.

Well, originally that was a mistake waiting to happen, because as chuckbutt points out, scammer seemed to think Istanbul is the capital. He's now reaffirmed that we meet in Istanbul so I guess that misunderstanding can't happen. On reflection, I should have just said that I'd meet him there, rather than ask for his confirmation. Birlic I think notes that the city is served by 2 airports however.

The hacker sent you a virus request which you click on unknowingly and it stored in your computer. With this storage, the hacker will access your email ID and Password .That is why he can enter your email and replace my message with his. For instance, he forwarded his Bank account to Katherine from your Box as if you are the one sending the message. They are smart and fast in checking your inbox to read your message before you, even send message from your box and delete them so that you will not see it.

To be on safe side, You have to get yourself new computer and create a new Email ID with different Password AND make sure it is ONLY for our communication. And you should not accept or download any attachment sent to you by unknown person accept me.

Finally, the meeting point in Turkey is Istanbul .And I will apply for a temporarily leave and see if it will be granted to enable me to meet you in Turkey, although I planed to meet you in UK by then the fund have arrive in your Bank account.

Please I still need your Whatsapp Phone Number for easy communication and safety.

I'm fortunate to have your advice on how to deal with all this. I had no idea hackers are so clever, and would be completely unaware of their trickery had you not warned me. Also, I know what I must have clicked on to cause the problem. There's a video service I tried to subscribe to that needed a licence key installing. There were lots of buttons that I had to say yes to before it would work. But it never did work and I still haven't got my money back. I bet that was it. I'll get Kevin to deinstall it.

I'll get my tickets finalized after Christmas. Does it look like you will be granted leave in January, so we can meet then?

What I'd been thinking was to arrive at an airport somewhere to the east of turkey and then, assuming scammer to be based in Istanbul, meet somewhere inbetween, where one of the webcams I linked to above are. Doing tourist stuff with a large amount of cash is however inconsistent with being very concerned with peronal security. So I'll abandon that idea & try and get a photo.

A whole load of my previous mails went missing when I had a computer glitch, so I can't go back to them. Apologies for asking you to explain things twice.

Thinking about my plans this morning, I don't think doing tourist sightseeing with a large amount of cash in my bag would be a good idea. It would be safer to just meet you in Istanbul at the airport and give you the cash straight away. I can do any tourist journeys after. Does that seem best to you as well?

Is Turkey a safe place for for foreigners? I'm guessing inside the airport is safe but what about if I go travelling around?

Normally, given your background in Greece, your character (Jim) should make it clear that he doesn't get on a plane as long as he doesn't know WHO to meet at Istanbul airport. Of course, a simple name is not enough. No Sir! Jim will want to see a copy of the agent's ID and also a real picture of the "agent" holding a large card with Jim's name on it. As is the case when a driver has to pick up a customer from the airport. I am convinced that it will not be easy for the scammer to deliver these 2 trophies
